Thanks for the pictures, Jaynin! I've never seen #s 3 or 6 before, and 6 is clearly part of the series (though all that scratching looks as though it would hurt a lot more than it tickles. Perhaps that's why it's not seen more generally).

I am in the same boat as Janin and apparently a few more of you. I can read hiragona and katakana, but not much kanji. But then again...just writing out the hiragonia in romanji won't do very much good if we don't know what the hell the japanese words I'm writing mean. Glancing it over quickly, there do seem to be a lot of sound effects. "あはっはっはっはっはっは”　is just "ahahahahaha.," and "やめて" or yamete means "Stop." くすぐり and くすぐたい both mean "tickle" or "it tickles."　　A lot of times, she seems to start saying something but can't get it out before she starts laughing.

I'll look at it closer later, but without knowing how to read kanji, translating this will be near impossible. Best bet will be getting a far more knowledgeable person than me to have a look at these. A native speaker would always be nice, I think there are a couple on the board. That message board Tellurium mentioned would probably be good too.

Damn limited Japanese knowledge...

I tried to stay as close to what they were saying as possible, meaning I didn't do anything to smooth over the translation or to culturally balance the statements. The other guy did that, which made him have to omit words/sentences and replace them with a filler 😛. I didn't translate the laughter, I am sure people know what it is when they see it.
