Are Men at a Disadvantage in Tickling?

The other day, I posted a personal for pen pals and until now I have no responses - a young woman posted one shortly after me and she had eight responses almost immediately.

In two polls that I'm running, 10% of respondents say its wrong for an older man to tickle a young woman - yet no respondents say its wrong for an older woman to tickle a young woman.

In threads about tickling clips, I see a lot of comments that they don't want to see male ticklers tickling young women but only female ticklers doing so.

What's up - are we men at a disadvantage here?

Well, the first parts easy. There more men here than women, so once a woman shows up, everyone pays attention (and a lot of times runs them off).

I don't know about the older women/ younger men part. Maybe guy's can just get a lot more creepy than woman.

Maybe its a numbers game. Of all TMF members, what % are females? If we are overflowing w/men (which I think we clearly are), isn't it easy to say that the response will be low? Also, what about the tickler/ticklee ratio? Again, I'm guessing the vast majority are lers (thus lee's come at a premium). And are most of the "lees" simply attention seekers? Who knows? But I think the bottom line is that GENERALLY SPEAKING (so that I dont get idiotic detractors) in nature, females are to be pursued, not be pursuers. Anyway, great thread! I'm interested to hear other perspectives on this...

Im guessing those 10% are women. as far as the support for older women to tickle younger ones, i dont think theres many people, male or female that would have any real issue with it. women tickling women of any age, i think is seen as harmless and non threatening.

The fact that there are more male members than female members is alone enough.

If it isn't, it has to be the fact that some males decide to come off too strong in a negative way. Such as:

"i tiklz ur feetz"
"i pm u u pretty lets meet"

Coming off strong and persistent in a calm and direct way is something I've been known to do in my life. But coming on like THAT, well, yeah.


Some females are members, but do not post at all, simply browse threads until they see somebody they like, and then PM them.

You have to remember, this is an adult fetish board. There will always be more of us men than females in my view . As a whole, all we can do is be ourselves, but at the same time I feel as if it's up to us non desperate, civil people, to show that we can and will carry a conversation, not just beg to "ticklz ur feetz".

On the same note, women, and everybody else SHOULD be careful at all times. You never know what you may find online.

Equal standards don't always apply. The truth is that men are just genuinly seen as more threatening than women. This in itself is actually somewhat sexist in a sense that it says a guy can and probably will do more harm than a woman, to both parties. So thus, a man tickling a younger woman would seem more threatening by nature.

Sadly though, this would have a very good bit of merit here, given that most female lees (from what I hear) get hounded by those desperate males here that makes us decent ones look bad. Atleast half the time the female would likely get scared off (and I can't say I'd blame her). So yeah, in that sense, men here ARE more threatening that women. This is likely part of the reason why there aren't that many females seen around here.

And one more thing, it's not just males tickling young women, but any woman at all, that what seems the greater number of people here don't wanna see. The reason why so many male lers would rather see a woman tickling a woman than a man doing the tickling is probably just the girl-on-girl factor.

I certainly agree with you that men are at a disadvantage on TMF. As stated before though, with the abundance of men (mostly lers) all searching for a lee things can be a bit crazy. As a female mostly lee (that's right!) I have found that most of the people (men) that I talk to on this forum have no conversational skills and usually say very rude and inappropriate things. Just because I am a member here does not mean I want guys of all ages (sorry anyone over about 25) sending me messages about tickling without talking about anything else. I'm sure there are lots of great guys and girls out here on TMF, but come on it's not to much to ask for conversational skills. 🙂

Males are held to a higher standard when it comes to situations like older male / younger woman, ex. If an older male have sex with an underage girl, he is more likely to spend the next 5 – 10 years in prison. In contrast, if an older woman has sex with an underage boy she might spend the next 1 – 3 years in jail after the 2nd or 3rd offense.
Further, more we are more willing to express our need for gratification (ie. Enjoying tickling, the type of sex we like……) than ladies; so, when a woman express she likes the same thing a male do she is deluge with males trying to be the first to get a piece of the pie. (I know it’s a very crude way of stating my point; my apologies)

We are taught that males should be have or think a certain way; looking at another more doing something other than having sex with 3 or more ladies at a time is consider gay. We been brainwashed to be independent of each other, except when it comes to mindless things like sports. When we’re marry male leave their friends behind to show the woman how much he loves her; however, woman keep some type of ongoing female relationship going so she will not fail totally abandon.

Yes, we are at a disadvantage; mostly due to our own phobias about (for lack of a better phase) what mail bounding truly is.

Brilliant response, especially coming from a male, and one actually documented in a real life court ruling. If you ever saw the award-winning "The Accused" with Jodie Foster, you know the one I'm speaking about. Though I never knew the victim/heroine, I actually lived in a small town nearby Bedford at the time of her rape and have friends who were friends of the family. In a nutshell, the gang rapists were convicted on the simple premise that in the majority of cases, women are at a disadvantage because again in most cases, despite whatever "come hither" actions she shows, the female can usually be physically overpowered and taken advantage of by the man.

As Knox says, in my (never) humble opinion, the tk arena isn't much different than the vanilla bar scene. Of course WE have the advantage, as Chris Rock credits us in his hilarious bit~"the woman has the pussy..."
Quality women are a rare find, horny guys come a dime a dozen. Do the math~if you come off as a race-obsessed, weight-obsessed, age-obsessed pig, no real life lady will ever give you the time of day for free. You're doomed to a life of having to pay for female action, while the line for US will always lead around the corner and beyond...

Oh, and just to be fair, the real men on this forum who value real women over superficial traits (mostly the majority in comparison to vanilla guys) have ZERO problem attracting girls. Just ask around, look around, think it over. By the time light dons over yonder wooden head, all the worthwhile ones will be gone.

In a word, yes. I have browsed the personal and pen pal areas, and even posted something once to see what type of a response I received, if any. Just based on some of the crap that some of the "male" types post there, if I was of the "female" type I would not waste my time and respond either.

Somewhere along the line I think these people just figure that because women are members here, that they just want to hang out with anyone that sends a PM. I have had the pleasure of meeting 1 person from here and we chatted for a while before we actually met up; and most of that conversation was about alot more than tickling.

People that I have encountered here are intelligent, can carry a normal conversation and have plenty more to talk about than tickling. If most males took that into consideration, in my opinion, they might be better off.

I was just recently discussing this issue with two friends who are a couple on these forums.
They both tell of stories of rudeness, and inapropriate behaviour towards the female (I won't mention her name) on the forums.
It does make it very hard for genuinely decent guys to make friendships with some of the ladies, but, as they say, "that's life".
I'm a member of a couple of other forums, and the same thing always happens. A new female joins and shows just a glimmer of friendlyness, and the next two hundred posts in the thread are by seemingly out of control men who seem to mistake ..... "Hi " with, ..... "I want to go to bed with you!!!"
Men only have themselves to blame for this, and hopefully a few of them will read the posts by Steph, and a few of the other ladies in this thread, and possibly even learn something!!!!

I'm a great guy and I'm 33. If your looking for alot of mature conversation on the forum from guys 25 or younger think agian. I personaly feel that alot of the 20 somthing males on the forum may be lying about there age (just a guess). Also with the lack of home taught values, and the constant pushing of the "Thug Lifestyle" through mucis and other mediums has taught young men that being an ass hole is ok. When I was a kid if you acted the way some of these guys did, not only wouldn't tou have a date for Saturday, you wouldn't have a friend worth having. Also there is nothing wrong with a 40-something hooking up with somebody in their 30's or even late 20's. People in their late teens and early 20's still have alot of living to do. It is easy to find yourself manipulated when you are still learning to deal with you emotions and seperating them from you hormones.

I don't think men are at a disadvantage at all. Like that chick Steph said, there are men here on the forum who have NO problems attracting women, and they don't get that way by asking random women, "Are you ticklish?" or "Do you have pics of your feet?" It's all in your approach. I love talking to any of these guys that I mentioned above, and have been lucky enough to meet some of them! Also, I don't think women have the upper hand....I mean, yeah, we're smarter and all , but men can just as easily have that upper hand if they know how to approach us.

Do they still have women that cry at the drop of a dime? Most ladies I been around (believe me i been around a hella lot of them over the last 7 years) don't cry, they prefer to kick your butt or find a way to be back at you than cry. the question should be "DO WOMEN NEED MEN TO DEFEND THEIR HONOR ANY LONGER?"
