I actually live right smack dab in the middle of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie! In a small city called Welland... about 20 mins from the falls.

^Ah, you live near The Welland Canal. I'm sure that you know what the Niagara Escarpment is?


I did play hockey in school 😀 Many great memories... wish I hadn't have dropped it 🙁 It was getting really rough and I didn't have what it took to be in the NHL, that's for sure.

^I met a New Englander when I was in the Air Force. He told me that the boys would go to school and be buddy buddy, but when they would play hockey the friendships turned to fights.^

Field hockey is a pretty world wide sport for women I think, isn't it? I believe Deadly said she played it in Australia too 🙂

^Now I will will have to ask Deadly how many times she got her shins smacked. ^

Yup... I can actually see the Canal from my window, its right across the street from me 🙂 We're hosting some events at the next Pan Am Games, so that's pretty big news round here 😀

Of course I know the Niagara Escarpment! 😀 Some beautiful places to see, lots of great hiking along it as well!

It's not much left of it now here haha (21.13), but unfortunately I haven't. 🙁 I've been sick the whole weekend, and the fever just got worse and worse today even though I've been resting for three days now. :S But I've gotten lots of nice text messages from my friends and some nice messages from people at the TMF(yours included 😀), so that cheered me up.
