I actually highly dislike anyone touching my feet, so that would never be an issue for me.

I suppose I'm more offensive in that regard.

What is your ratio between writing and researching?

It depends on the subject matter of my project. If I'm unsure of it, I do a lot of research to the point I almost forget it's for a story. If I know the subject matter, I won't do too much. If it's something that is harder to research, like physical pain, I try to do a little research and then reverse engineer the feelings and ask myself, "What would I do if I felt this? If I felt that? How would I react?" and whatnot.

I suppose I appreciate psychology a bit more than sociology, to be honest, though I think it's ridiculous to generalize people so much.

I would have to go with grammar. Proper grammar is hard enough to learn, but once that is mastered to a certain degree, the writer can start to find their style of writing rather than doing it the other way around.

What is 'proper grammar'? The lexicographers have gone rampant with their ideals of language and neo-words...

How can, 'proper grammar', become reliable in this sense? The "new" words are barely understandable...

It's not about learning new words. It's just about learning how to use the words you do know appropriately, really.

Before I found this site, I can't say it had developed into a fetish just yet. I did think I was somewhat odd for having an interest in it at the time, however.

No worries, darlin'. It's all well and good. And my hair is only barely long enough to be pulled up, but I leave my hair down, which is why I keep it short usually. No need to put it up then. Though, when I do pull it back, it's just a quick pony tail type of style.

What's the last book you read?

The last book I read was Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, but I'm currently in the middle of Mockingjay by the same author.

Anyways, did you celebrate Father's Day with your dad?

I would have liked to, but my dad had plans to put up a fence for a dog area with his girlfriend. He had homework also, so there wasn't much time. Besides, my dad's birthday is in a week, so my sister and I will give him his gift, and, possibly, hang out with him then unless he decides to spend the day with his girlfriend again.
