Hey, How's Australia?! .. Are you having fun? (Dumb question probably)

Australia is lovely (well what I've seen so far)! I'm having a very nice time. Jetlag is finally catching up with me tho... 🙁

I am happy you are having a good trip. What has been your favorite thing about it thus far?

My favourite thing was this tour of wedding venues on the Swan River. There's this one place, Caversham House, it's amazingly beautiful. Almost makes me want to live here....

Are you going to the outback any while you are there?

Maybe the steakhouse 😉
Naaaa not too much. Staying in the hills just outside of Perth which is totally country and beautiful. Going to go see the ocean in the next couple days but not so sure about the outback itself. Even going to try to go snorkeling!

1.5 hrs from Glasgow to London
13 hrs from London to Singapore
5 hrs from Singapore to Perth

Was never sooooo happy to get off a plan in my life!!!

The sheer number of birds in this country. Crows are soooooo loud! Magpies swoop at you. Kookaburra's are constantly laughing. And you have parrots living in the garden!

I'm doing fantastic! Had a great day out to the Perth Zoo yesterday and now just getting up for a lazy day of shopping with the boy and cuddle time.

Awww the people are dead friendly. I'm in WA (Western Australia - Perth) so it's a little calmer and relaxed than EA (Eastern Australia - Sydney, Melbourne, etc). It's more like a very chilled California vibe here in WA. Life moves a lil slower. People still work but they take time to chill out. Lots of open space and outdoor things - surfing, swimming, running, walking trails, etc. EA is more like parties and nightclubs and bustling cities... just like Toronto.

Everyone I meet here welcomes me and is very gracious. They ask more than they speak. It's super sweet and I could learn a lot.
