What makes you most nervous about the new job?

At my current job, I'm the Mama of the house. I'm in charge of alot of things, I know what I'm supposed to do, I'm very good at it, I have confidence in my decision-making, my boss trusts me and values my input, my consumers respect and trust me, I know how to help them and challenge them without babying them or overwhelming them, I make a big difference here. I'm going into a place where I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I won't be working the same people every day (clients, that is) so I won't be able to see measurable progress, and that's one of my favorite parts of the job I have now. I don't mind asking alot of questions when I don't understand something, but I'm afraid of making mistakes when it's so important that you get things right. I guess basically I have fairly normal concerns for starting something new.

Right now I work in a transitional group home for adults with mental illness. I'm leaving here to go work at a talkline - a number people can call for referrels to local services, to vent, just talk if they're lonely, or call for crisis situations. I start Tuesday. I'm scurred

They're maybe a half inch bigger in diamater than the PA ones, but they are fucking FILLED with that cream shit. Like an inch of just cream.

Druk people kick hardcore ass... unless they're overly emotional drunks I mean it's ok to vent when you're drunk sometimes, but I've met people who cry at least once almost every time they drink.
