If you want or need anything, tell her straight up. Don't try to be polite and hint around or assume that she'll think of it on her own. Wife doesn't roll like that. If you say, "All I need is a place to sleep," prepare to be hungry, cold, uncomfortable and dirty for the next 4 days.

Don't make her do anything outside when it's stupidly hot out. My wife almost left me for a/c. It's that important to her.

I really don't know. I haven't gotten drunk on just shots since I was 16. At that time, I think I drank about 12 shots before I couldn't pour them anymore and no one would pour them for me, so I just started drinking out of the bottle.

I don't know that I've ever had gin. I really only drink tequila when it's mixed. I've had shots before, and they just take me to another level

We go whenever we can fit it in. We like to go up for 4th of July, because his town makes a big deal out of it and people come home for it like it's Christmas LOL So we get to see quite a few people. Sometimes we do winter trips, too, though.
