Ask porcelaindoll2 a question.

English and then Italian although my German is getting better.

I preferred NOT to sing in English! When I fully understand the lyrics, I was too tempted to interpret, rather than trust the composer and the music! Although my voice teacher, who studied in France, HATED giving me French songs to sing!

You're standing there in the bend of the piano, singing, with nothing in the world between you and your audience but air.

1) In strict recital style, you are supposed to keep your movements to a minimum. Do you find that restrictive?

2) How scary is that to you?

I move a little. I give slight gestures, but nothing to over the top unless the song calls for it. I don't find it scary.

Backstage waiting was always scary for me. Once I got out onstage, I was all right, and so to this day.

I never got anything but polite applause until my senior recital. Then I got the standing O!

When did you first get a standing ovation?

I got one for my junior half recital.

Good morning Porcelaindoll2! How are you today?

Just how good were you at hopscotch?

I just woke up. Southern Comfort is strong stuff. I think I was good at hopscotch. It has been so long since I've played.

You ever whistle a Gilbert and Sullivan show tune? 😛

I can't really whistle. I own a Gilbert and Sullivan arias for soprano book. I want to learn all of them. I also sing a lot of the baritone arias randomly. Like if anyone says anything about a list, I usually burst out with this song. I sometimes wish I was baritone because their G and S songs are so much funnier than the sopranos. I also owe just about all the G and S shows on dvd.

Do you like to watch any sports?

I usually watch some sports with my grandpa who is 85 by the way. We watch Baseball and I have watched some Nascar with him although I'm not really a fan of it.

Ever wear a tin foil hat to prevent alien mind control? 😛

(warning this is another very silly question. Proceed with caution)
