Still no squirrels 🙁 but its very very cold here 🙁

That is very sad.🙁 I hope the squirrels get back soon. 😀 😛
What do you consider to be "very cold" there near L.A.?
Here it is not considered very cold until it gets to below 20 degrees, whereas my friend who grew up in Minnesota laughs at that and reports that back home there they don't think it is very cold until it gets to about 10 degrees below zero.

Yes, I have seen pine trees standing happily in two feet of snow, so I'm sure that Mr. Pine Tree is very tough. 😀 😛

Yea Mr Pine Tree is super tough. He survives the cold and the heat and the rain and the winds.

Well the ones in our backyard sometimes eat the pine cones before they harden and they eat a lot of the figs here. As well as other fruits.

Ah, very interesting. Here there are no figs for them to eat so they eat a lot of acorns and chestnuts. 😀 😛

Yea but he cant tonight its very cold, windy and rainy. Very harsh weather for widdle trees. I iz scared. 😱

Thanks you so much. Its not easy being a widdle tree ... Daddy does his best but you cant really fight Mother Nature too much.

He is gonna help protect all us widdle baby trees. 🙂

It was very very bad. Very cold. Very windy. Very rainy. One widdle tree got hurt very badly. Daddy went out in the early morning in the pouring rain to help him. He has a chance now... if Daddy did not go out I dont think he would make it. 🙁
