lol, well I sorta started using the term because over the years, North American neo-cons have tried to explain to me how terrible Sweden is - being some sort of despotic, socialist dystopia apparently. I thought it was so funny to be told crazy shit like that as I actually live here and KNOW how the country is run, so eventually I just made a thing out of it, and it stuck. xD Of course, it also helped that an old friend of mine who lives in Illinois enjoys poking fun at me for being Swedish - but without all the Crazy. But anyways, he pretends that we are still all stuck in the viking age and raid the British coast, so yeah... I guess there's two reasons to why I started with it.
But no, it's not true of course. It's just me spouting bullshit as usual. 😛

Neo-conservatives 😉 Or more specifically, neo-conservatives who have never been to Sweden and who couldn't name a single political party here, let alone find Sweden on a world map even if their lives depended on it. My grandfathers brother moved there and married a swedish woman. They had kids and the kids had kids. I think that still makes them my cousins.
I Keep in touch with them through e-mail mostly. Only found out about them 5 years ago.
