Leo, there is no reason to be put out.
The Zodiac,as a general rule of thumb, is something that most people in current times use as a form of entertainment. Right or wrong. Who's to say the degree of accuracy or relevance it bears on life? The moon effects the tides of the planets...the stars effecting the bodies of men is certainly possible. No one is going to argue with you about that.

As far as responses being "nothing of worth," I disagree. A light hearted conversation unfolded between a few people. THAT was a good thing. If you genuinely are intersted in running charts and talking about houses of each sign and the outcomes we can actually observe in our money, family, health, attitudes, etc...volunteer something that we can relate to...or research. Don't become condescending or dissopinted. If you re-read the posts, you'll find there were comnments with some real interest in the topic. Yes, there was fluff too, but your initial post wasn't laden with respect and awe of Astrology. Was it?

Like Astrology is ever an exact science...

I do believe that the planets do determine certain characteristics in our personalities, as well as different phenomena in the world and universe. However, you cannot exactly predict how someone will behave or respond to certain stimuli, or how he/she will evolve during her life, or whether someone will pass a test.

What you can say is that is very likely that so and so will happen, or that so and so might be identifying characteristics in someone's personality. However, they could be so vague that it leaves a lot of room for interpretation.

I cannot think of any relationship between an astrological sign and tickling. I do know that there are certain parts of the body associated to every sign, but they could be either interest for the part or susceptibility for ailments in that part. Hence, again, we can see it is not an exact science.

Pisces are the martyrs, the ones who want everyone in the room to be happy. Instigation is not one of their main traits, but they do make terrific party hosts. I'm guessing your rising sign is going to show us the source of your gregariousness, Ms. Ruler-of-the-Feet.

Ktickler is right, the part of the body ruled by the sign is that sign's weakness, where they are most susceptible to ailments or sensitivity.

So, Ms. Belle, do you find this to be true? Are your feet. . . sensitive?

Although Boom, if you wil be there in Feb., guess I'll have to fire the Indians, get Chester to serve, and have Nick drive me there! hee hee hee!!! Chicken pepperoni, anyone????

Now I'm not sure I can make it in Feb. I'll keep you posted. And I'll eat chicken pepperoni, but only if it's Aurora's! You know the governor loves it.

It's a fool's errand to go searching for a correlation between sun signs and ticklishness. By doing so, as far as we can see you have no understanding of the feet, ribs, or for what tickling is.

But we love you, firey one. Email me if you'd like to talk more astrology. Even though your sun is in fixed Leo, there's no need to act like there's a stick lodged in Uranus.

Dear Boomtown13,
I have read what to said and you were one of the few that did say something worth while! But for the record i neaver said the sign, stars, sun or moon could show you how one is ticklish! I just asked if anyone has found anything to prove that some signs are more likely to be ticklish!
As for doing charts for over 30 years, iam as good as anyone !!! I am allways looking for more info that is based on the truth!!!
I might be a Leo, but my Moon is in Virgo and so is my Venus, my mars is in Sagittarius!
And if you want to debate anything on the subjuct, write Robert Hand! He is the best out there, and will blow away anyone who thinks the stars dont work!!!

Okay, quick storytime. It's perfectly appropos, as you'll see.

I was at a fancy Hollywood restaurant tonight, meeting a friend for dinner. My friend was running late, so I got myself a glass of cabernet at the bar. Next to me was a guy talking to a very attractive dark-haired woman. As I looked over at them, the woman caught my eye with hers and smiled pleasantly. I picked up my glass to take it into the room with easy chairs and a fireplace, but as I was exiting the bar, I heard the guy and woman saying "goodbye" and "nice meeting you."

He was leaving. I turned around to face the bar again, and sure enough the guy was halfway out of the room already. The woman was smiling at me again, and I was heading back to the bar. Why not?

The woman, I then noticed, had a cast on her right leg from her shin to her toes.

I know what you're thinking, but hold on there a second.

Um. . .

No! Let's address it now. Okay. Yes, her toes were bare, and resting on the barchair next to her. They were painted.

I stepped up to her, motioned to the cast, and said, "Well, at least your toes look nice."

She laughed. "Yeah, I just got a pedicure today, before I had this cast put on."

"Really?" I said, and placed my fingertips lightly under her bare toes.

Her eyes widened and she started laughing as soon as my fingers just touched her there. "Oh God, I'm so ticklish on my feet!"

I didn't keep it up because, you know, the cast and all. My educated guess was that the cast meant there was some damage in that foot. See, I'm no dummy. We talked for a good 20 minutes. Every so often, my hand would drop down to gently brush under her toes, which would bring great smiles and laughter to her sentences.

She went on to tell me how she laughs through her whole pedicure every few weeks. She's a catalogue model (and believe me, she looked the part).

Anyway, here's the point of the story. (I just loved the details so much I HAD to share them.) She told me she is always hurting her feet, breaking toes, spraining ankles, etc. This was the second cast she's had on this foot in a year.

"Uh huh. Are you a Pisces?" I asked.

"Yes! How do you know that?" she asked with astonished laughter.

We talked Zodiac for a while after that.

We're getting together for air hockey sometime in the next week. She thinks she's good at it. Aha! She's never played me!

So.

Non-believers of the Zodiac, pack this beautiful coincidence into your skeptical pipe and smoke it.
