Excellent. I love seein' a thread with so many fine answers before I even get to it. MadKalnod's got one fine set of rules, and the mention of shrinks as bein' a good is well said. Obsession is where this RULES your existence. A sexual interest shouldn't control you any more than sex controls a vanilla person.

I've but one perspective to stir into this mix, Mimi. Think of how long you've been "out" to yourself, to others, to your lover. Now remember your teens, when sex was a new thing. Do you focus on sex now, as you did then? Not likely. As you familiarize yourself with anything, it ceases to captivate your senses. When you familiarize, and allow yourself to dig what you dig, you gain an ease with it.

It doesn't lessen the preference for it over vanilla practices. It merely makes that interest more easily handled. It's true for all of us, save those whose interest IS an obsession. Even then, some of those folks can live happily with their obsession. The rest will find a shrink ultimately, on their own or by court order, and will solve such.

You don't seem obsessive about this. You just seem new to the whole of this scene. Your genuine interest is a welcome sign of a healthy interest, IMHO.

it's the computers fault

hi mimi, and everyone else. i saw this post days ago but decided to wait. don't really know why, lol

i have found, like so many others, that our tickle obsession comes in cycles. i too go through periods where all i can think about is tickling. this happens monthly, so i think it may be partly hormonal. i also have found that it happens more often during the summer. thank you ladies for wearing those skimpy cloths.

but i also have found that i didn't have these periods of obsession till after i got a computer and found all my fellow tickle lovers online. so the obvious answer is it's the computer!

listen, don't worry about it till one morning you hear a man laughing hystericaly, and you realize it's the milk man and you are tickling him silly, but don't remember how it got started!

Mimi, thank you for opening up this line of discussion, I've had similar concerns for years now and I'm relieved to find that a fair number of our brethren have lived through this obsession.
I think I finally got the nerve to discuss my "interest" with a shrink when I realized I was buying concert tickets to try and find an opportunity to tickle someone. (I was actually planning to make my way to the crush at the stage front and randomly tickle any woman I could discreetly reach.) Now I know where my cycle of interest comes from (hormones), and what its catalyst is (stress or sexual deprivation) and I find my obsession easier to curb just by knowing what makes it work.
I hope you find a happy resolution to your worries, as I hope everyone here might.

MIMI and everyone else 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful thread,took the words right out of my mouth 😀 .I too have dreams nightly about tickling and have done so since I was in my teens,and sometimes find myself having to get up for some reason and then get back in bed,and try to return to the point in my dream before I awoke.Makes me want to even sleep in late instead of waking up earlier and having my morning coffee 😛 .LOL just ask my husband Tim,it's rare that I wake up before 10am and I've slept in as late as 1pm 😱 .Also have found in my life that even just lounging around the house with husband near and he;s barefoot ;that I catch myself looking at his bare soles when he;s resting taking a nap 😉 and start sneaking up to him like a snail and just as I am about to pounce on his feet he rolls over facing me catching me with my fingers inches from his feet and leaves them there for me to tickle them .This is wonderful,he then tells me he loves to be submissive(can I say that here LOL) and I love to be the dominant one in control and I can't get enough of when I am tickling him when he says "OHHH your gonna get it hhehahhaha" that just makes me tickle him even more relentlessly,feverishly 😀 😛 .
