I think it WAS Billy Dee. I'm not quite sure WHAT it is now. I can make out a shark, an explosion, a skyline, and what appears to be Obama on a sk8board(?).

"Turntable" isn't too far off the mark. Audio geek that I am, I chose a Vestax record cutter for my avatar. It records vinyls from analogue or digital sources. I'd love to own one, but being as it costs roughly what an older used car costs, I'll have to pass!

I'm liking nerrad's new avatar more and more each day. At first it sort of creeped me, but it seems to be growing on me.
 
I like FeatherDaemon's as well, being a big fan of Azumanga Daioh, but I've seen it as so many avatars/AIM or MSN buddy icons/signatures that by now I'm just a trite desensitized to it. Still, Kamineko will always be cool.

I gotta say, though, the absolute coolest in town is Featherhead. All of his various hand-drawn avatars are incredibly likeable and comforting to behold.
 
Seeing a1532b pop in tonight reminded me how much I enjoy his ripe, delicious avatar. *drool*

Honestly, I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. I think it's a mango, though... :drool:
 
I like mine. Why? Because I drew it, and I like my art the most. Mostly because I'm the artist who most consistently draws what I wanna see. In this case, my avatar reflects me, being a drawing of me. And an image of myself is the most logical avatar I could choose.

But screw it. Time for a change. Dunno how long it'll last, but expounding on the finer points of my art makes me wanna make it a photo. Just for shits and giggles.
