I spent a number of years in the far east, and I can say with a good measure of experience that a very high percentage of Asian women love to tickle and are very good at it.

drew, I've been in an interracial marraige for close to five years to someone who hasn't been living in this country for much longer than she's been married to me. I'm sponsoring her green card, I've spent many holidays with her family, friends, and co-workers, all of them also non-Americanized Chinese. I've travelled to her hometown (Xuzhou in Jiangsu) to meet her family and broken bread with the head of the household in a remote village in China that doesn't even have dirt roads. I talk to my wife at great length about Chinese mythology, literature, culture, and custom, I speak some of the language, and I have experienced it all firsthand, down among the people, as one of their own... so I think I'm not inflating my own self worth when I say that yes, being married to a Chinese makes me far more qualified to speak about their customs than someone who watches a lot of Jackie Chan movies.

that said, Korea is not China. they're two entirely different places with different peoples and societal norms and your statement about your own experiences contradicting mine only proves my point. that being, that the original poster shouldn't stereotype an entire ethnic group based on his own prejudices or fetishized ideals of those women. "Asian" is a convenient blanket statement that we westerners apply to people of that region because most of us can't tell them apart and wouldn't appreciate the difference between China, Korea, and Japan anyway.

well, it is a shame you don't know how to read, seeing how my first post to this thread was;

Asian women tickle no better or worse than any other ethnic group. I'd imagine you just perceive they do because you, like many other people here, find something "magical" about these exotic women and it heightens the experience somehow.

In other words, don't stereotype.

I will no longer refer to Asians as just Asians. Except for this one time and this will be the last. I will now refer to them from the Country they are from. So no more refering to poeople from Asia as Asians. That was the last time and I swear it. On that note no longer refering to people from Europe as Europeans. I will make sure they will always be refered as to the country they are from. I will, however, refer to Austrailians as just Austrailians even if they are from New Zeland, because I'm American and cannot tell the difference. I will never referer to Antarticans, because besides penguins are there Antarticans?

Wow, this post of mine sure got out of hand. Let me clarify what I really meant. First of all, I apologize to everyone for stereotyping, which was not my intent at all. That was wrong of me to do. BUT, what I really meant to say was that from my own personal experience, the Asian women that have tickled me just seem to have the most beautiful, nimble hands with slender fingers and a skill level at tickling me to insanity. I wasn't trying to make any generalizations regarding the culture or tendencies of any race socially. I would be more than happy to be tickled by ANY woman of any race, description, or other stratification. I wish I could find a female on this forum that would be willing to tickle me.

So again, I apologize to all that took my original post out of context, and any that were offended. I have been struggling as of late with this tickling fetish of mine being a male ticklee, which is very difficult.

Markymarc, I appreciate your candor. I understood your intent from your very first post in this thread and your point is a valid one. You certainly weren't stereotyping, the worst that could be said was that you may have been generalizing, but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing, certainly not requiring any apology.

I too have had similar experiences in several Asian countries. They are complex and diverse peoples, but the women do seem to have this one thing in common.

Giggle... on the contrary.... there are ignorant people here who still stereotype other ethnic groups on TMF (and anything else they can sterotype while they are at it). Most of my erased posts deal with that very subject. 😛

I can't say that I am offended as much as I am just extremely tired of people who feel they can produce stereotypes or generalizations on an entire ethnic, religious, cultural, or social group based on the limited... and I mean <U>limited</U> MISinformation they receive from other misguided goofballs... or based on the limited interaction they have experienced with each group.

There are billions of people in this world, and I don't care if we've met a million of them... it doesn't make our opinions, our generalizations, or our stereotypes solid FACTS.

And well... bottomline, anybody who truly loves people regardless of their background, anyone who truly loves learning and listening about various cultures and religions (etc.), and anyone who is openminded and willing to admit they don't know all there is to know about everyone and everything... will NEVER crazy glue their minds shut and embrace an ignorant statement that sums millions of people up in one stupid lump.

Of course, it's far too easy for the ones who don't think enough to care... and don't CARE enough to think!

i think phineas means "asian women tickle no better or worse than any other racial group."
ethnic would refer to the individual countries that make up an area, or race. asian race would be broken up into ethnic groups ie; japan, china, korea, viet nam, etc. this would be the same for europeans. they would be broken down to ethnic groups such as swedes, germans, french, spain, italy, etc.
ok back to the silly argument over ethnic/racial stereotyping.
besides, EVERYONE knows transilvanian women are the best!

And yet, people from other countries, ethnicities, regions, etc. often DO find other people who are different to be exotic and mysterious. When they aren't being annoyed by them or afraid of them. It's been this way in every country, in every historical period. Rising above is a good thing, but at some point you are gonna bump your head on the Homo Sapien behavior ceiling. Human nature's a bitch sometimes.
