I notice in some of the extreme bondage series of pictures there will often be at least one shot that shows the girl being tickled. I'm sure that many times that's just part of the script for that series, but I suspect in some cases it may indicate that someone on the set took advantage of the models defenseless condition to see if she was ticklish. Thoughts On Barefoot Bondage
The Barefoot Bondage thread has now had more than 30,000 views. This suggests to me that we have quite a few members and guests who have an ongoing interest in this type of material. I would like to share some thoughts which I have considered recently.
Many of the pictures in this thread explore the darker side of our sexual fantasies. Keep in mind, the key word here is "fantasy." There are any number of things which we might think about doing (or having done to us) in the realm of fantasy that we would not necessarily want to carry over into the realm of real life.
The girls in these pictures are not prisoners held against their will, nor are they slave girls in a torture chamber. They are professional bondage models working with professional bondage photographers. In some ways it's like professional wrestling, as the girls work to "sell it" by their actions and expressions in order to act out these extreme torture scenarios.
I admire the girls for what they are able to do. Most of them are young and in good physical condition, which helps them to hold the poses required for some of these pictures. They endure a certain amount of pain and discomfort in order to get these shots. That being said, there is an emphasis on safety, so that the girls are able to avoid serious pain and injury. The producers are generally quite protective of the girls, many of whom are not only employees, but also friends. Their philosophy seems to be, "We want to torture you, but we want to make sure we don't hurt you!"
Lorelei, who runs the website Bedroom Bondage, has some interesting comments on what goes on behind the scenes in a bondage photo shoot. She writes: I have a negotiation form that I give to ladies before I do photo sessions with them. The form lists types of bondage, gags, props, and activities that might happen during the session. The model goes through and circles her favorite stuff and crosses out anything that's beyond her personal limits. The most common item crossed out on these forms is tickling. Whenever I ask them about it, the explanation I usually hear is, "It's too torturous."
One of the things I appreciate about the TMF is the many different viewpoints and preferences that are expressed here. I would like to hear your ideas about the role that sexual fantasy plays in your experience with tickling.
