Batman v. Superman

. The last two Batman film were full of special effects, but were the most dire pieces of shit it has ever been my dis-pleasure to encounter.

Too true. Gotham didn't even LOOK like...well, Gotham in the last two movies. It looked TOO bright and safe..during the night. Sure, Batman helps keep crime down, but his city is supposed to look like a dark version of New York City...hey..didn't I read somewhere that NYC is sometimes called Gotham? I swear I read that somewhere..and not in a Batman comic book. Now if I can just remember WHERE I read that. lol

Heck, I just think it's an interesting topic. 😉

I do agree, too, that Superman would learn to fear anything in a lead case. Then again, by now, he's gotta know that he and Batman are on the same side.

Now, if the WRITERS could get that clear...

We New Yorkers call it Gotham quite a bit, actually. And you're right, it was way too safe-looking in the last few Batman flicks.

ok just for the record according to DC comics, gotham is supposed to be their version of New York and Metropolis represents LA.

Now my thoughts on the Batman v superman thing.

Batman. nobody ever gave him anything. He started his own company from the ground up to a multi-billion dollar empire. He has no super-powers. Just his brilliant mind and his determination to make himself as perfect as humanly possible. His jaded look at the world allows him to fight dirty and lets him do whatever it takes for justice to prevail.

Superman, his powers were given to them. His look on the world is that of the eternal boyscout. he believes that no matter what Law Good and the american way will eventually prevail. therefore whenever he has to fight dirty, his subconcious always holds him back and will cause him to hesitate, eventually that will be at the wrong moment and will cost him, and probably others dearly. Batman will never hesitate to do what he knows he must for the bigger picture. Supes, see the bigger picture, but doesnt always believe thats whats most important.

therefore in the crunch, I think batman would win out in the end.

Hands down Batman would win the fight. All he has to do is toss Blue Boy a piece of Gold Kryptonite, thus removing his powers, forever. Making the big blue boy a normal human. Afterwards, Batman could go medievalon the big boy scout.

Huh...and I had thought it was RED Kryptonite that removed his powers...least that's what I remember my dad telling me. But who knows, they mighta changed it or something.

green kryptonite kills. red affects him unpredictably (anyone remeber when Ambush bug found a chunk turned it into a necklace as a gift for supes and they wound up switching bodies?) blue affect only bizarro and gold strip him of his powers
