Simple enough... if you could have one of the four star safeties competing this weekend, who would it be?

Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins, or the dark horse Adrian Wilson?

(I'd have to take Ed Reed myself, with Dawkins being an extremely close second)

you took reed and put dawkins second you fail :megafail:

Troy Polamalu is the best defensive player in the nfl.. so obviously he is the best saftey... followed by reed then wilson then old as dawkins

That's a tough choice, both Polamalu and Reed are phenomenal safeties, but I think Polamalu puts more fear into the opposing WRs than Reed does so I'll go with him.

Troy Polamalu all day. There is no one like him. Hot on his trail would be Ed Reed(of course).

Ed Reed

The best is who his peers say he is the best. You know former Defensive Player of the Year and the only unanimous All-Pro this year. Keep thinking Troy is in his league and you will only continue to live in a dream world.

troy has more tackles sacks passes defended and forced fumbles and fumble returns and the same number of picks in the regular season what about reed is better

I think today's games showed who the best safety is. Troy was everywhere on the field tonite while everyone else was saying "Ed who?"

Wilson had a great game and Dawkins is Dawkins. But Polamalu is my go to guy for safety.
