Hey Modesto, my computer has a permanant ftp server and I'll let you upload the file to it. Then everyone else can get it from me, for as long as I'll put up with the bandwidth concerns at any rate. The address is 142.163.218.133 and the username is "specific" with no password. If you don't use an ftp program just put ftp://[email protected] into IE and it'll open it like a folder. As for the rest of you don't all go checking it until I tell you. Just trying to help out.

Thanks, sum_weirdo! I think I sent it right. I had 2 or 3 downloads when I was on Kazaa, but I think your hosting it will be a much better way to go!

I have been bending over backwards to share this file, but I feel like some people on here are a little too demanding. I tried my best to do everything I promised. I tried to mail the file, but that failed. I put it on Kazaa, and I was online when I promised I would be, but only 2 or 3 people came and downloaded it... and they were all non-posters on this forum.

I am sorry if I did things wrong here. I apologize if I inconvenienced anyone. I will not try to share any more files.

Don't sweat it, modesto you did more than enough...the fact is, aside of having webspace (either a website or just ftp upload space), there's really no effective way of sharing your stuff over the net. attachment limits on email are ridiculously small, and using file sharing software like KaZaa can't guarantee results either(assuming you're even able to find the file, the connection may be unbearably slow, up to 0.01kb/sec, and depending on the file size, that can take almost a day). Your only ohther options would be to get a group account on Yahoo, which would only lead to more ppl complaining about how much Yahoo sucks(granted, it really does), or getting a webspace account with a site like angelfire, which would only result in having the file deleted after a week, and having swarms of ppl complain about the broken link.

Just keep in mind that while all of this may be disencouraging, you shouldn't give up on sharing media should you feel the desire to, b/c there will be plenty of ppl who will show gratitude for your efforts(which I am attempting to do now😉 )

What you esperienced there Modesto was the "gimme guys". They have been around forever in the world, but they are particularly strong on the internet where they fee everything should be readily available for free whenever they want it. Same thing used to happen on AMT when I was over there...someone would post a clip and a part would not show up for someone and there would be great gnashing of the teeth over this horrible injustice! 🙄

Its like the old saying "No good deed ever goes unpunished"...your hard work is appreciated as is that of sum_weirdo and Oblesklk and everyone else who tried to help.

Wow, thanks guys. I am glad you are happy with the clip! Your gratitude means a lot to me, because I was really beginning to feel like I was letting everybody down. When I posted that I had this clip, I didn't realize that it was going to be so hard to deliver it. I honestly thought that with the clip's small size I could e-mail it, because I have emailed MP3s that were larger than that before.

I don't know why the Kazaa route didn't work better. Apparently some people could find it and others couldn't. I give a lot of thanks to sum_weirdo for finally putting an end to my file-sharing misery! 🙂 I really appreciate you for helping me out in this endeavor... and thanks to you, too, Oblesklk, for the mirror.

It really feels good that in a small way I've given something back to this community. I've enjoyed this site for a long time. If I ever get lucky enough to tape another clip like this, I'll try not to get so discouraged. Maybe I will eventually find a better way to share files. Thanks for all your encouragement.
