And ultimately, they're only a sexual thing because someone declared them so, and I can declare far more than one place sexually exciting.

I can sympathize with that part, it's what's caused me to develop several minor fetishes, like backs. Still though, most foot people I meet her and there talk like they can only find feet sexually exciting, so I'm not sure if that's fairly unique or not.
