If you want a good reason not to have children, just look at overpopulation and the number of children needing to be adopted (and yes, I do know that, in spite of that fact, it's also a big hassle to adopt, unfortunately). The world now isn't any more screwed up, or fucked up, than it ever was before. There's just more destructive technology available now. But what we do have is an overcrowded planet, and it's anybody's guess whether the space program is going to create more living space to expand to.

The yellow-journal New York Post is several notches below another Rupert Murdoch property, Fox News. And that's low!

I understand authorities have all but ruled out Al-Quaeda involvement. And it would never surprise me if the culprits in this case turned out to be some sociopathic "militia" types.

Meanwhile, my heart goes out to all victims of this wanton act of violence. And I sincerely hope there are no TMF-ers among them.

Usually I'm in front of the computer all day working. As it happened today, I wasn't near any media at all, because I was in Manhattan, so my head was isolated from this terrible tradegy. I just heard the full details. My heart, thoughts, and prayers, go out to the victims and their familes.

From the news reports I've listened to.. law enforcement officials say they don't have any information about who committed this vicious act. I was at the Port Authority Terminal in Manhattan today, and rode the subway home after the bombing had happened. I didn't see anything unusual other than the regular flow of rush hour commuters on the Manhattan to Queens subway.

Hopefully, they will find out who did this terrible crime, and make them pay for it.

The loss of innocent human life is tragic, but on the other hand, doesn't things like this make you wonder why people apparently hate America so much?

I hope you read my post clearly enough to understand that I'm not putting any credence in the existence of any such suspect, but I attribute it to the reckless non-journalism of the New York Post rather than any massive government conspiracy. Yes I did, but the fact is that an arm of the media is already trying to blame it on someone speculative or not. Paranoid?! No i'm not paranoid i'm just sick of being treated like an idiot by barbaric roman governments and their fear inducing media. Paranoia is when someone questions everything, well I don't question everything, only what is blatantly obviously false or manipulated. I find it a tad convenient that the US government that desires to start a war with north korea, wants to finish their invasion of the middle east, and disarm their citizens, should now have a bomb attack on their hands. We will get the terrorists they always say, yet in another part of the world the real al queda that are known in the media as rebels, are being funded and trained by them to take out another middle eastern country, or just stir up dissent and let Nato do the rest as was done in Libya.

I have also heard about the so called found undetonated bombs that have already been located. So do the people get to see the made in labels on them from an unbiased news channel? Or are they just going to keep it to themself and pin the blame on someone else.

I think the US citizens should be more worried about the laws that the great Obama wants to implement in order to keep the country safe. This so called bombing is just another typical government attack on it's citizens right down to the pantomine suspect! I am more interested in knowing exactly who it is that gets the blame this time, Syria perhaps, iran, North Korea? Nah can't be Korea they have missiles after all and the public wouldn't believe it. For those who hate America, I have some news for you. We don't make the rules and some of us aren't that crazy about what goes on in government. I'm not an apologist especially since I personally don't send troops to war and I don't sanction anyone. I am sorry about that happening, but put the blame where it belongs and stop with the nonsense of hating groups of people that have NOTHING to do with your issues. This is a global community now and whether we like it or not, we're all in this together.

I just caught this on the news today also while in a supportive living house and I just think its a disgrace that someone out there had the nerve to set these bombs off on that partially day AND tactically place those bombs to do that! and I may not be American! but I truly hope your country finds out who did that and they truly do feel the full force of the law!
