Brutal Cold., And Possible Winter Storm.

As I wake up this morning at 6am, the temp where I am is a balmy.. 2 Degrees F, the coldest reading I can remember in years. '

This is the coldest weather I remember in many years.

I can see this weather driving lots of people out of the Northeast over the long run, along with our pitiful economic situation.

Right now, in the southern tier of NY we are under a wind-chill warning (-25 degrees with that wind chill - frostbite city). We're also due for some snow this weekend. Not much, but it'll be blowy and drifty if recent days are any indication, and of course it will be stupidly cold.

In the frozen land of Nador, Arthur and his Knights were starving, and they were forced to eat Sir Robin's minstrels. And there was much rejoicing. 😉 🙂 😀

It's currently snowing heavily,. but it isnt as cold as the last several days.

Monday's high is expected to be a frosty.. 19 degrees.. with a low of 7. Except for 40 degree days both tomorrow, and Wednesday, the weather really isnt supposed to warm up much, with highs in the 20s predicted for much of this week.

Today was actually rather pleasant, high of 40 degrees. It felt like summer.

It isnt supposed to last though, tomorrow is only supposed to be in the 20s for highs, with a low of 4 degrees. Most of this week is going to have highs in the 20s, except for Wednesday.

Today is windy and in the 20s...... Tonights lpw os expected to be a frosty.. 1 degree above zero, with highs in the 20s again tomorrow, and most of the week, except for a near 40 degree high on Wednesday.

Going to be a mess of a drive in northern Georgia with the snow they are getting. The Atlanta area calling for ice pellets.

As I type this, its 4 degrees in NYC. (At least where I am). Today's high is going to be only 24 F, and after one mild day tomorrow of almost 40 degrees, its back into the deep freeze for at least a couple of days with highs in the 20s.

Very bad weather the next 48 hours.

A couple of inches of snow tonight, turning to rain, then, a Winter Storm Watch has been issued for tomorrow night into Thursday, as the precip turns back to snow, and piles up, up to 8 inches. All told, 10 inches of snow may fall.

Next week is supposed to be sunny and in the 40s.

Hopefully after Thursday, this winter weather will be over. It's enough already.

6 to 8 inches is now forecast. It is snowing heavily, and is supposed to for the next several hours.
