Not really, because, even without the fetish, most people enjoy tickling to an extent, usually as a form of flirting. So it's pretty much saying "You're good at flirting". 😀

Definitley a compliment! I also think there is something 2 b said about the "connection" between ler' & lee'. Even in "flirting" there is that little bit of connection.

I'd say the only way this could be a bad thing is if the person saying it considers tickling a bad thing. Then, they might say "you're a good tickler" in the same way that they might say "you're a good sociopath."

Those cases are bound to be rare, though. For anyone else, saying that someone is "good" at anything is a compliment. Just how great a compliment it is depends on how much they value the skill they're describing.

If someone said I seem like a good tickler, I would wonder what the hell they were talking about. 😕 How does someone "seem" like a good tickler, and what is this person really trying to say about me?

To borrow tkl-pen's analogy about saying someone is good in bed: if someone I've slept with tells me I'm good in bed, I'd take that as a compliment. But if someone I don't know in that way with tells me I seem like I'd be good in bed... well, do you see how that might be interpreted as less than complimentary? 😛
