You called him a "rapist" with no proof of such. At least I admit my position is based on a theory. You shriek yours as though it's a given. He thinks it's okay for a rapist to be cheered on by the cheerleader that he "assaulted." He called her a "vindictive bitch" with no proof of such.
Not at all. In my world most women are awesome. Of course, a glaring exception would be someone who enters a thread with no other purpose than to malign my character with outright lies and discourage others from engaging me in civil discussion. In his world, all women are vindictive bitches
Wow. Now THAT is what I call vindictive! 😉he's a straight hater; no one for you to waste your valuable time with.
"Chances are"? And that's good enough for you? If I'm being unreasonable in my admittedly speculative hypothesis of what happened, how much more unreasonable is it to treat his alleged rape as though it were fact?I tend to agree with Flatfoot. Sorry, DAJT but I don't think it's fair of you to assume guilt on her part. You're right that the rape was never fully established and it's kind of unfair to just assume it did. But your speculations are just as unfair and baseless, maybe more so. I think if he pled guilty to misdemeaner assault, chances are he raped her.
I'll say it again. In this country people are innocent until proven guilty. They are not presumed guilty until they are found guilty. He was never found guilty. The charges were dropped. That doesn't mean he couldn't have raped her, but until it's established that he did, the only fair and reasonable posture is to assume his innocence until proven otherwise.
This cheer leader can't reasonably expect to drop the rape charges and then expect special treatment for being "raped."
