I’m aware of the rules against posting content of any kind concerning minors, and I’d never break this rule.

However, I do have early memories of me as a ‘ler and adult women as my target. Is this sort of thing allowed?

Always thought it better to err on the side of caution vs walking the line on this specific rule, but I agree clarification is needed for some folk.

I always wondered about recalling memories from my youth also.

Because it's such a fuzzy line, and this is such an adult site, we've decided that it's best to avoid any mention of minors at all. I have memories from my own childhood too that I'd like to share with you all, but once we open that door, it's really hard/tricky to specifically decide exactly what is or isn't inappropriate.

Thank you for clearing that up. I’ll keep them to myself.

Personally, I'd urge the mods to approach this subject with more nuance than the "no mention at all" rule, especially with respect to analyzing childhood memories of our experiences that actually happened to us when no adults were involved all at, particularly with respect to how it affected us personally.

While I do see how this could be abused, I also think there'd be no better forum to air these kinds of very personal, sometimes traumatic memories, and I'd trust the moderators to use their judgements regarding whether a particular such conversation verges into an area of sketchiness, rather than a blanket prohibition. That would be my vote.

I don't think there are enough mods to deal with that.

We tried this for a decent period. Because yes, there is value in such discussion. But the end result was that every thread would get swamped out by people looking for 'more details' and asking questions that were not of value. Look at the above where Chicago was asked about details of a traumatic episode. WHAT possible value are the details? None. Yet someone wanted them.

We had a long running 'early experiences thread' where people could relate formative experiences in a clearly non sexual context. So it could be discussed, It eventually got filled with so many "Dear Penthouse Letters" sort of entries of the nature "One day after school 12 of my friends stripped me and held me down and tickled me for hours!" stuff that it was clear this was nothing more then a wank-o-riffic exercise for a lot of people.

So we killed it all.

There was no point of balance.

Asses gotta ass. Meaning they fart on everything. And thus it goes away.

Can we just close or delete this thread? I asked a question, got my answer and then this discussion snowballed.

I’m satisfied with the rules, and with the answer I got.
