A computer from 2007 likely belongs in a museum.
If they would give me money to put it there I would be happy to sell it to them 😀 😉 😛

I don't know of any museums that are buying them now. 🙁If they would give me money to put it there I would be happy to sell it to them 😀 😉 😛

I would guess not.Darn. Guess I cant sell my Victrola player either. 😀 😛
I would guess not.
On the other hand, when one of my aunts died at age 91 about two years ago, my cousin found a vintage 1947 television set stored in her closet. It had a round screen about 4 inches in diameter in the center of a rectangular cabinet about 24 inches in diagonal measure. He did sell that relic on eBay for $2K.
😀 😛
I don't know who would want a very old cigar.
It is not even clear to me who wanted that ancient television. Perhaps an electrical engineer interested in history.
😀 😛
I don't know what model it was, but they were the only owners, my uncle and aunt, in that they bought that TV in 1947 to watch the Milton Berle show and used it until about 1960 when they got their first color TV.Darn. Its mold free.... well almost no mold.....well only a little mold.....I guess no one would want it. 😛 😉 😀
It depends on the model. Most models are not worth very much but there are a few that are worth a lot.
😀 😛

The first TVs available for retail sale were offered in 1946, so they bought theirs just one year later. It might have been the previous year's model.Interesting. It sounds like it was one of the first TVs so that may be one of the reasons why its was worth money.

What shocked me about it was that the screen was oval, almost circular, rather than rectangular.
😀 😛
I agree. They will mock all two-dimensional screens. 😀 😛Yea the first sets were odd looking buggers. I am certain years from now people will look at our LED TVs and say how antiquated and odd they look. LOL

I would like that very much.Yea. The new sets might even be like the holodeck thing in Star Trek. LOL 😀 😛
I would like that very much.
I wrote a story once, entitled Holodeck Pixies:

I would never leave, I am sure of that. 😀 😛Cool idea for a story. 😎
I think a comedian once said "Invention of The Holodeck will be the end of civilization. No one will ever leave the place to face reality again." LOL
Probably a fairly true observation. 😀 😛
Many people would be like us and never leave the holodeck. So there goes civilization. 😱Same here. LOL 😀 😛

That it would be, lots of fun.Yea. 🙂 But it would certainly be a fun way to go. LOL 😀 😛

I am definitely opposed to being hit by a giant asteroid. 😱Better then being hit by a giant asteroid. 😱

Yea that is not a good thing at all.
Being hit by a giant asteroid would ruin your whole month.
