On a day when stadiums across the NFL recognized veterans, the Cowboys committed perhaps the most egregious error of them all:

Now we all know that the Cowboys are a mess this year and yesterday's pasting by the rival Eagles didn't help matters, but seriously...

They started by recognizing the "man in the fedora", the gentle soul that guided the team for 29 seasons and five Super Bowl wins, who was a B-17 copilot and flew 30 missions in World War II.

Only they didn't recognize Tom Landry, they recognized Tom LAUNDRY!!

How do you misspell your legendary coach's name??!! WOW!

I think Jerry Jones should think about a total rebuild. It's been over 30 years since they even won a NFC championship. I think. Dak is out for the season I believe. Cooper Rush is pretty good but they really need to rethink the whole team. Might take a few years to get back on track but this is just really bad now.

Just my humble thoghts.

As a Commanders fan, I am thoroughly enjoying this. And the main reason isn't that they're a division rival. The main reason is that I've lived through 25 years of dysfunction, and I'm just enjoying watching another franchise deal with similar dysfunction while my team is finally trending in the right-direction. And the fact that Dallas' problems center around ownership just makes it even better.

If you're an NFL fan, when you hear the name "Dan Snyder", nothing positive comes to mind. Nor should it. The man put Washington through hell for a quarter-century.
