Got inspired while watching a friend of mine play her gnome mage against her friend's rogue. They RPed the fight instead of dueling and it ended in the poor little mage getting tickled into submission. I'll be posting this colored and with some dialog taken from their RP. Enjoy!

This is so well done I almost forgot how much I hate gnomes. They nearly look as good here as they do running away, dying from DoTs.

Actually I play a mage myself, and if you don't frequent 4chan you wouldn't get the joke within the "messed up sentence".

I don't "hate" the Alliance; I used to BE Alliance until I rerolled Horde because of the incessant Compendium stealing perpetrated by 14 year old Paladins who couldn't spell. That and the sheer weight of mangina Night Elf Hunters started to get to me.

Aye I don't think I'd bother playing WoW if I was a woman, although I have to admit that at one stage I rolled a female Nelf Hunter and used my "femininity" to get gold and freebies. I got her mount and one for my Warrior by playing on the horny generosity of 14 year olds ><

LOL Guild Wars was my first MMO, and it has introduced me to this social "element". I'm a guy, so all my characters are guys. When I met my first guy-playing-as-a-girl; I asked him why he did it. He told me that if he was going to stare at the rear end of a character all day he'd rather it be a female one. So to err on the safe side, I assume all girls are guys until proven otherwise 😛 I do slip-up every now and then (more on this later)

So, guys playing as girls can sorta make sense to me; after all, part of why I dug Lara Croft when it first came out was the novelty of staring at a girly character.

The thing is, I tend to "role play" a bit; not in game, but in my own head. I like to build toons that reflect at least a facet of my personality. I've even went as far as creating a "diary" thread in the guild forums where I write up "entries" of past adventures. Fun stuff...

So when I make friends from in game; even though it doesn't really matter what gender they are, eventually I get curious. If only so I can take remarks in their proper context.

I remember one friend I made; I went for months thinking he was a lady, when he was in fact a dude. It didn't really matter though; I never flirted or anything, it was just a subconscious assumption.

How I found out he was a guy?

One day he sends me this pic of a girl and a guy hugging, and I go "Sweet, is that your bf?" and he goes "that's a pic of me with my gf".

LOL awckwarrrrrrrrd.

I'm so thankful I'm not a "horny preteen" cuz ugh! That could have gone south so fast.

That's pure evilness Headsnap xD What's hilarious is that I've gotten "favors" from other gamers without ever having to switch genders:

There's this one Class called the "Mesmer", and in the first Chapter, they dress very Aristocratic (read: girly), I'm talking frilly shirts, 3 piece suits and whatnot. They are a very subtle profession to play, and specialize in hexes, mana stealing and interrupts.

Anyway, I created a Mesmer one day, and I got more attention from other "guy" characters in one day than I ever did with all my characters combined. I'm talking whispers, convos, free items… lol. Very disturbing 😛 I'd like to think they were girl characters posing as guys to avoid unwanted attention >_>

Maybe they were :O Also it's not evil; when it comes to mounts your options are a) grind gold for hours or b) get it in seconds off some clown who thinks you're a woman. I couldn't be arsed grinding, there's too many roleplayers able to go about their business unganked, Scarlet Monastery groups that complete the instance unwiped or trade channels that go unspammed while you're grinding.

I'm not evil, I just play the game for different reasons than normal people :O. Ask most folks what their idea of the top 5 things are in WoW and they'll say "getting epixx" or "killing bosses" or "getting rank 14". Mine are tanking a boss with Blood Fury and Deathwish active (Fury spec tanking for the win, by the way) in order to "counteract the rage generation nerf from patch 2.0" (read: make the healers do some bloody work instead of just sitting around moaning on Vent about how people should bring pots, tubers and bandages). I also enjoy constantly pulling aggro when DPSing, ganking, taking over the Menethil - Theramore boat and some light PvPing.


Basically I'm not evil; I'm just a jerk 😀
