Well.......say, hypothetically of course, I may wish to go, it'd be a lot cheaper for me if I could head to Houston then to Dallas than straight to Dallas. So just hypothetically of course, I was wondering if I may find someone that lives in Houston that I could ride with if I wanted to go. IF, of course, since this is just a hypothetical scenario.

That's what I thought of. However Greyhound is MUCH cheaper getting me to Houston than to Dallas. I could help pay for gas and still save quite a bit. Dunno about Trailways though, but I don't think they run those routes.

Ya know, with the airlines hurting for business, you may be able to get a discount ticket on Priceline.com or something like that. If you do, you may want to also keep in mind, that Southwest usually offers lower fares than some of the 'bigger' airlines.

But then again, they would land in Love Field, which is about 30 miles away, VS DFW, which is about 10-15 miles away.
 
Question for everybody: Should we go ahead and have the Gathering at the same place as last year? I mean those suites were quite spacious and for the money, really couldn't be beat.

Or did we want to try something else?
 
I'd be up for a Texas meet.

Maybe some like minded Okies would like to gather up and carpool.

Right, so even then I'd still need someone to pick me up. Just trying to see what my options are mainly though. Btw...what do you do at this munch anyway?

That same place was good for me, for the money. Just give the address, and we could probably all just meet there.
 
I would like to attend. Never actually been to one before. I figured this is a good start. Since it's in my own back yard and all. Well...right down the road actually. lol
 
Sadly it looks like another 'no-go'. My father is having a special event honoring his 75th Birthday. I forgot all about that being his Birthday, and of course, need to be there.

I do apologize.
 
i would love to go also. I just got to texas for a duty in the military. Let me know when the next gathering is!!
