Describing the "tickling" feeling

Maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to articulate the feeling you get when your tickled....(Maybe because it's been so long.) anyone wanna give it a go?

I think you can describe it poetically or metaphorically, but you can't describe it exactly. That's true for any feeling. For example, what does cold feel like? Try to describe that feeling without using any words related to temperature, or referring to anything that IS cold, like ice. It's very difficult!

I think several of the posters here have done good jobs of describing it metaphorically. That's probably the best you can expect.
