Disney princesses are always a good subject. Snow White is one that rarely ever gets picture though, I assume that is because their isn't much focus on her feet in the film.

Then again, so few seemed to like Black Cauldron as I did. Characters like Eilonwy are Disney princess perfection for me, a slight evolution to the classic formula~.

Eilonwy was supposed to be barefoot in original disney concept art. 😉 Can't find the link to the pics though. But i think it was mentioned in the books somewhere...?

Mm... Disney stuff was pretty good already. I could see a bit more detail being nice since that'll be a focus, but don't sell quality animation short.

That would be Giselle from the animated sequence at the beginning of Enchanted.

Enchanted's animation sequences showed that Disney still has it in the animation department for sure~ but not sure if their story work (or music) has what it takes. Enchanted was pretty good, even musically. I actually enjoyed it, but not sure I feel the same about Tangled. I'd love to see some more Disney animation definitely.

The Princess and the Frog did a fine job of proving that they can still animate like crazy. While I do have a marked preference for traditional styled animation, the medium is only a small part. I left Tangled feeling like little girl, too.

Tangled's dialogue was sharp and witty, I just wish the music was better~ but it was a surprisingly fun film. 🙂

I've seen those before. I regret that the original artist felt the need to go completely over the top on the face without keeping up with the cartoony look and feel.

Me too. Personally I like the original better, the cartoon style gives it a cuter, smoother nicer look in my opinion. But I also understand there are people who would prefer a more realistic face, want to see them as they would look like if they were a real human instead of a cartoon. I think the artist may be like that.

But for me personally, they 'broke' the picture rather than improved upon it.
