Do hairbrushes really tickle that bad?

I’ve always wondered this. I’ve ran a brush across my hand and that felt like it would probably would tickle if ran across my feet. Now my feet are ticklish but I probably could take it lol. I’ve wondered too how bad are grooming gloves when it comes to tickling? They don’t look like they’d tickle that bad but apparently they do?

Hairbrushes are hit or miss. Pet grooming gloves? They don't work on everybody but there's a reason I call mine the Red Glove of Ruin.

Yes... Yes they do! They, like most any tool, are not always the most effective or even guaranteed to work at all for everyone, but by and large, they are very effective if conditions are right. Some of those typically more ideal conditions are as follows:
  • Choose one with stiff wire or plastic bristles, as opposed to the types with scratchy hair-like bristles.
  • Stiff as they are, the bristles should still have a bit of give to them. They should be fairly flexible. Too stiff can deliver too much pressure into the foot through the fine points of the bristles and make it more difficult to control for pain. The goal is to tickle, not hurt.
  • The bristle ends should be rounded well and not feel too narrow or scratchy. They should glide smoothly across the skin with little resistance. A lot of stiff style bristles have the little ball shaped ends that help with this, but not all of those are created equal.
  • The number and distribution of bristles will make some difference, but it's going to depend upon the individual. More bristles generally is going to reduce how much force goes into each fine bristle point, reducing the chances of non-tickling discomfort or pain.
  • The bristle pad (the part of the brush that the bristles insert into) is usually cushioned (but definitely not always). So in addition to some brush bristles having some give due to flexibility, they also can have extra give due to the bristle pad giving a little under pressure. Some give is usually good to make up for human error in trying to keep fine control with fast motions on such a sensitive part of the body.
  • This is not a huge deal, but ergonomics can make a big difference for the user and their sense of pressure and motion control. Also, the handles ability to transfer good feedback to the hand is important. You want a real sense of how hard you're pushing.
  • I've been alluding to this the entire time, but acceptable pressure is unique for everyone. So many people want to go hard, or just go hard not realizing it is hard. For most people, this will cause more discomfort and pain than tickling. Get feedback from the lee! It's also very common for us to couple extremes together in our actions, so if we go faster, we also tend to reflexively go harder. Try to resist that urge. For some people, they need much more pressure, and that's fine, but check in with them.
  • Lubricate! No matter the bristle, on many people they can still be somewhat abrasive to the feet. Oil is best. Make it a thinner, rather than a thicker oil. If you want easy, widely available, and low cost, choose a small bottle of baby oil. Be mindful of any allergies they may have. If you want a more natural oil, get some fractionated coconut oil. Regular coconut oil is Simi-solid at room temperature and goes rancid more quickly. Fractionated coconut oil is liquid at room temperature, very thin, very good for the skin, virtually odorless, and still not terribly expensive.
Grooming gloves work in the same way, but often the little nubs tend to be much shorter, harder, less flexible, and have more surface area at the point of contact than brush bristles. Because of that and the fact that they are a glove instead of a levered handle-based implement, they essentially give the wearer more control, are (sometimes) more forgiving with pressure, and deliver a more direct force through the nubs with less discomfort. Many of the same other considerations apply though, such as smoothness, number of nubs per area, and lubrication.

I hope some of this is helpful. Take care 🙂

If you're going to us a hairbrush on someone for tickling, make sure it has some give to it. Also, I'd suggest using some type of oil so it doesn't scratch up the feet of the person you're using them on. It works pretty well in my experience. I use them mor for a change of pace in part because they block the feet when used.

Top complaint I hear from models about brush use by ticklers is the "rugburn" like effect when no oil is applied first, and stiff bristles with no give.

Depends on the person.

I don't enjoy brushes or grooming gloves on my feet at all. Although when the glove is used like a hand and not simply used to scrub, it works better for me.

Imma hands girly, though. Tools may or may not work, but I adore the feeling and warmth of skin to skin... body to body contact. 💕

I have thereby improved the world. Also...love the name!

Mine is the Mitt of Endless Torment! Which definitely sounds like a d&d module name 😆

With hairbrushses, it depedends on the person being ticked with it and the tickler using it. I've had success using lots of lotion, lube, baby oil, etc.

Slick feet are tickish feet...;0)

Most of the time hairbrushes work rather well in my experience. Sometimes they work better than fingers and sometimes fingers are more effective. Depends on the lee. And as Soles_Scream said the stiff brushes with no give can be a problem. Those and horsehair brushes can be painful. I like the ones that have the plastic bristles with the little beads on the end.

Most producers don't know more than one kind of "touch" to use and just saw away like a lunatic. Sometimes I lightly scrub with the very edge of the bristles and it works far better. But you definitely need the plastic-bristled ones with the rounded nubs on the end. Anything else is just too much like sandpaper. I don't always use oil, so in such cases the application is as important as the brush itself. Ain't burned no one yet.

Ask My wife and she'll tell you its the most ticklish thing in the world. She genuinely can't handle more than 6 seconds of it on her feet

Use a silicone based lube like Uberlube instead of baby oil or lotion and thank me later.

It works way, way better.

I've never had a hairbrush applied to my soles. But based on the hysterical reactions I've seen in videos, I hope I never do. Mere fingertips on my feet is more than I can handle; the idea of augmenting the intensity of that sensation even further is borderline unbearable to me.

No. Everything depends on the woman being tickled. I've seen plenty of women have the brush used on them and they barely reacted. Personally, I hate brush tickling, its the worst type of tickle videos and I wish it would just be retired at this point.

Most Lee's that I have tickled have said it's tickle agony. I really feel it's how they are used though.

Yes, judging by the reactions of around 15 girls that I have tickle tortured while tied up, the brush is with almost no exception the tool that produces the most wild reaction. Actually I know a girl who is only ticklish at her ribs and armpits and almost not at all at her feet, but with the brush and baby oil it still works. The only problem with the brush is that for some very sensitive feet it can be too much and cross the line between tickle enjoyment and painful reaction.

I think in general hair brushes and gloves work well on most ticklish feet, but just like with hands, the most important thing is the ticklish feet and how you use the tools.

I have a few hairbrushes I got at Kmart when they were in business like 12 years ago. The brushes were actually in the kids section and have little rubber balls on top of each stem. They bristles also have a lot of give to them. They are also on the smaller side, coming from the kids section. I think the key was they are flexible, soft and have rubber tipped bristles. The choice of brush is important.

Also worth mentioning is if you're tickle torturing a lees feet with a brush, the feet should be bare. Add a little baby oil and then the brush slides around nicely. Mix up different pressures and different strokes as you go along. Feet should be bare for the BEST effect.

When I use the brush, the lee is locked in full leather restraints and usually strapped down to a table with multiple straps on the legs and ankles. Feet are bare.

In most of the videos I've commissioned from sex workers, the brushes have been iffy. Mainly because you need to apply some speed and force, but vanilla ticklers tend to just rub the bush on the soles slowly which doesn't have much of an effect.

Best tool that has almost always gotten best reaction on the feet is the headless electric toothbrush. That small rod can be vicious.

This woman named Angie has plenty of ticklish body parts but her feet are only mildly ticklish. The hairbrush gets the best results, especially when she taunts that her feet aren't ticklish. And what sexy arches she has!1743701897908.jpeg

Eh, I dunno. I've tickled women in nylons before who put lotion on before putting them on, and then wore them with shoes all day, and when I took their shoes off at the end of the day and ran a hairbrush across their soles, they went ballistic more than they ever did bare.
