ticklemad, don't worry: I bet there are a lot more male whales on the forum than female ones. So far, no Greenpeace team has tried to roll me (0.12 tons) back into the sea when I'm on the beach, but I don't object if somebody uses this simile in a good-humoured tone on me.

After all, this is not like a disco where mostly the looks count, but a place for an exchange of ideas and experiences on our favorite topic. Here on the forum, looks are utterly unimportant, it's the individual that counts. That's one of the internet advantages.

So try the Garfield approach and be a philosopher. Don't mention looks, and you won't get any offensive replies. We need you here, ticklemad!

I agree with you 100% feetclimax! It is about fun and POWER! not to say that I don't have my fantasies(namely Hardy from BB2 and Colby from Survivor!)but I know that neither one would give me the time of day due to my looks. It's sad that we live in a society who can't see beyond looks and weight. I'm 24 and slightly overweight but I'm new to the community and extremely ticklish!! People just have to decide which is more important to them, a beautiful girl who doesn't laugh and looks at you like you're nuts or an average girl who gets hysterical at the sight of a fly on her arm...As you can tell, this is my soapbox, and now I'm getting off of it before I get angry at someone unnecessarily. When simply playing bondage games, or even simple tickling at a gathering, ones appearance isn't significant for me. Indeed, I'm not supposed to be involving with the 'lees at my events. Bad form.

I don't tend to attract to someone as a lover if their appearance SCARES me or mortally offends, etc., but I can't say as I've known many like that.

These days, the interest in tickling is more important than the interest in appearance, but I DO have an interest in a lover's appearance. A play partner, no. That's a wholly different deal.

I find myself much more attracted to a woman that has demonstrated ticklishness, and far less attracted to one that isn't, despite any disparity in their appearnaces. MMia also made a good point about there being a certain "vibe" that promotes attraction, which isn't really directly related to physical appearance...it's strange how much I can be drawn to a certain personality type and voice at times.... Years ago, I saw a mimeographed collection of cartoons that showed types of people one is likely to meet at a Science Fiction Convention. One type was "Land Whale", male and female, with the male variety being the more common. There have been times when people told me that if I went swimming, I was at risk of being harpooned. Cure for that is eat less, exercise more, lay off the beer--or simply don't let it bother you, which is the approach I've taken as my weight has edged upward these last few years.

I agree with Glen and Q for the most part. I'm more likely to be attracted to an ordinary looking woman who was ticklish, than to a supermodel type who wasn't. However, I disagree that the "vibe" isn't directly related to physical appearance. Be honest fellas - would you still want to tickle her if she was truly unattractive, or hadn't bathed in recent memory?

Truly unattractive is a matter of opinion...I tend to think almost all women are attractive in some way, and as I get to know them, I'm not ususally disappointed. But...good point about cleanliness. I take about 3 showers a day depending on the weather/gym activities/general mood, so I tend to think you're correct about that being a knockout point, and in both directions I would imagine. Q

I agree w/ gLen as well. I could have Miss America in front of me and if she wasn't ticklish, she would do NOTHING for me. A girl who is really ticklish but has a really bad attitude about it (ie takes all the fun out of it) is almost as bad. I've noticed that people that have a bad attitude about being tickled oftentimes have other attitude issues as well. Anyone else ever pick up on this? Maybe I'm just biased though😉 ! Nice to hear the chimes of agreement. But now I'm gonna be the contrarian again, and suggest that a really pretty girl who has a snotty, superior attitude is, in many ways, the best possible tickle victim -- and I do mean "victim." Think about it: a gorgeous girl who insults you, makes fun of you, provokes you...who is extremely ticklish and doesn't want at all to be tickled, who HATES to be tickled, but who does obnoxious stuff that allows you to be "justified" in giving her a good tickling, just to get back at her? I'm searching my memory files for a time I actually got to do this...can think of only one so far, but it'll take too long to write now. Tonight when I have time... 😉

No longer ticklish looks

I came across a gal that was no longer ticklish becasue she said when she was younger she was tickled mercilessly by her sister. After a while she learned how to control it and not be ticklish.

For me, looks do matter, however if a women is moderately attractive but really ticklish, I would probably give her a tickle. My experience has been though that very attractive women are almost always very ticklish, especially on my favorite part the feet. This past summer I was at a festival and was hanging out with about five women, of which I attempted to tickle four of them on the feet. Three of the women were of slightly above average looks, but nothing head turning. Those three women were not in the least ticklish on the feet. However the one who was very pretty was also very ticklish on the feet. I stuck my fingers under her sandles and she got up and stood up on a picnic table to get away from my fingers.

My theory is that really attractive women don't get the really merciless tickling because men are afraid to touch them (plus they are pickier about who gets to tickle them), so they remain tickling virgins and mainatain there laugh...

Looks aren't that important. I prefer tickling girls who are:

A) shorter than me
B) not overweight. They don't have to be thin, but I prefer when they aren't too fat.

But I don't think I'd turn down a real opportunity to tickle any girl.
Sadly, one of the few things life has taught me is that standards suck, because they ALWAYS result in less sex and tickling. They NEVER result in more sex and tickling, so I have pretty much thrown mine out the window.

I know that for me as a ticklee when you are being stared at with baby blues or browns, it doesn't matter the color but the charisma and the excitement behind them! Tickling for fun and giggles may not matter as much as for the long endurance tickles that are shared between 2 people that take it farther than just the tickle. To me tickling is sensual and erotic so the attraction just has to be there. Is this all in the looks.... well you decide....for you, but for me.... yes it does matter....

As a tickler ..... well lets just go with the sensual erotic thing again..... Guess I am just a romantic at heart! A torturous one! LOL
