Actually, I disagree with this. From what I can gather, the OP gave her $1,000 for a job. And only after two months and sending her two emails which went unanswered, did he post it publicly. And it was only after he posted publicly that this issue was resolved. Look, if my clients gave me a thousand dollars for a job and I did not contact them after two months, I think they would be posting publicly on the internet too, if not filing complaints with the BBB. I know shit happens, but you need to communicate when it does. Going two months without contact is unacceptable, and if it happens you better be extremely apologetic.

1.) if the producer and the buyer had not had a long-standing previous relationship;
2.) if the producer were someone less familiar than Catherine Foxx.

Catherine has many Ties in the community and has shown great openness and good humor, even under torture.

Perhaps you will agree that irony is a sometimes-neglected mode of communication amongst us.

Ummm, I have been. PUBLICLY on this forum.... as a matter of fact. And to him in email form. Do I really need to prove all that too and cloud up this forum with more random bullcrap. Lest we not discuss the MULTITUDE of other happily satisfied customers who have spoken on this thread saying how I was a joy to work with. I'm sure the 3 tickle customs I delivered today will shortly be saying something.

I guess I shouldn't even be trying to defend this with someone who can't even read a thread properly to know that it was $150 and not $1000. I'm sure I'm correct cause all I hit on PAYPAL was the refund button. What can I say, you can't argue with stupid.

I worked briefly on an autobiography.... but unfortunately I have way too many stories and they branch out randomly like a tree sometimes with no really structure. I have a friend who I sit with and related random happenings with while drinking wine sometimes and She has offered to write stuff for me..... but alas, I don't think you could get all of my life experiences properly translated into a book that wouldn't seem foreboding in size or be lacking in the truth as I see it. I think I'll just live it from my side. We will see what time brings. I often think my life narrated by Zoey Deschanel though. IDK why....

Half the appeal in any biography is wondering what was left out, and why. You could fill two volumes and still those of us who are interested would want to know more.

Admittedly, we are in a niche here. Porn stars as bio subjects are done for now. But I think several things could be shown to broaden your appeal. There is a certain innocence to tickling that does not resonate in any other branch of human sexuality. Tickling is just inside the borders.

In these days, we have the concept of friends with benefits. Just guessing, but I believe it's more the openness than the concept which is new. Tickling, like uncomplicated sex, is playful. Turnabout is only fair play.

I could go on, you know that. But you're busy, and you will be for some time to come. It makes sense to live out your vocation, then write about it -- as long as Charlee Chase doesn't beat you to it.

And if I want to live to read about it, I guess I better start keeping those promises to myself about my health.

She's stated she's apologized multiple times - so explain your definition of "extremely apologetic" ? Honestly, if she didnt have a standing business relationship with this person and didnt explain WHAT went wrong- maybe I'd agree with you. I'm not one to put up with bad service but I AM one to understand shit happens and sometimes theres nothing that can be done but an "I'm sorry" and a refund (which is what has happened here along with trying to defend her moral character). Would you want to go out of your way for someone if they publicly dragged your name and business through the mud? Not likely- but if you do, good on you.

I can honestly say that although I'm not a video person, after seeing this if I WANTED a custom video- it seems to me that Ms. Foxx would be an excellent and reputable choice to go with. This is based on many others stepping up and confirming the type of person she is and how she does business as well as how she's handled THIS situation (kudos to you btw Ms Foxx, I wouldnt have been able to be so nice - must be the Taurus in me).

I have received all 4 videos, I know that she had shot a lot of content during Fetcon and then went out of town for a week, but that is information available through her twitter posts for anyone to see.

Cathrine has never once disappointed me with her response or the quality of the work in anything she has done for me!

What's particularly funny about your customs is that in order to get the one with Lucky and JC - I had to kick everyone out of my birthday party which happened the Sunday at Fetcon to film just that scene cause JC was leaving for California the next day and Lucky is from out of town and leaving that Tuesday so it was do or die. I paid for Lucky to have a cab to come to my studio the next day which is 10 minutes from the Fetcon Hotel to finish our shooting time..... but What a funny story! Everyone waited in the hallway for us to finish filming and then we came back in an continued my birthday bash.... If that's not dedication.... then I have no idea what is.

Much love <3 I just handled like the Leo I am. I get upset and snarky. Trust me when he figures out what an ass he's been and tries to repair the situation, I won't have nothing to do with it. With this post He's burned all bridges with me. Which is pretty sad if you are a video guy. One you get me, which is pretty hard these days since I've kinda gone under the radar mostly producing - secondly I have connections with all sorts of models within the US..... Oh well.....

Let me define extremely apologetic: more than just a refund. A refund is fine when you fail to do the service, but when you have a customer service breakdown, you have to do more. Yes, I consider no contact for two months in this day and age a customer service breakdown. Look, I have had customer service failures as well. It happens, but I try to make good by offering discounts and freebies. I want to keep my client happy. And in the same post she apologizes, she goes on to attack the guy. To me that is just unacceptable.

If I were the customer I wouldnt want anything to do with you after you posted my real name on a refund receipt that was removed by the moderator for privacy reasons, not by you. 🙂 and if I was a potential customer Id be very wear of working with a producer who would either purposely or negligently post my true identity in connection with my commission.

I DID extend such a thing. the FACT that he hasn't responded to me on email OR here should show as FACT that there is nothing more that I can do about it. I haven't attacked him. As a fellow producer and long time friend, I have to say that you've said and done more than enough to prove your professionalism and integrity as a producer. Others will of course argue this to death, long after it's no longer the hot topic. The important thing is you've handled yourself admirably and done the right thing. No hollow words on the TMF can cast the action you've taken in a bad light. Your fans and peers are with you. The others don't matter. Love ya, Cat!

In regards to this particular issue, I disagree - due to the posting of this persons real name ( who cares if first is just an initial ) and now their email address. This is something that producers of this type of material should fully understand commands the utmost respect for privacy, yet clearly it is not a concern in this case. How you, or any other producer can argue that fact is crazy.

A simple explanation and statement that she issued the refund would have sufficed (not posting a receipt with the clients info visible), as well as put an end to all the "drama" that would have been the professional thing to do.

MS. Foxx did what she needed to do, which was apologize, and refund. This should never have been brought to the level of a public forum.

I am sad to say though, that as a professional, your responses are a tad hard to swallow. Talking about people on the forum as "D-Bags" and "Cheapskates." That alone turned me off. I understand that your work ethic was attacked, but there are better ways to handle things. Like walking away from a thread before you resort to loosing your cool. One of the things that one should learn working in the public eye is that ther are going to be negative people who attack you, your work, you ethic, your looks, ect... One needs to accept that with grace and look to those who give you positive, useful feedback. Just my two cents.
