I don't name my car, but I do have a "carmunculus" - a little die-cast model that holds the spirit of my car. Every time I get a new car, I transfer the carmunculus to it so that it remains the same car in spirit - just in a new body.

My first truck, which was a small black Chevy S-10, i named Hal-900.

if anyone who's seen 2001: A Space Odyssey, you should understand the joke behind it.

and just like my truck, it couldn't since it had god awful acceleration with it's 4 cylinder engine.


My first car, a giant Mercury Grand Marquis, i named Moby Dick, since it was giant, white, with white custom hubcaps.

Yes bxxxxxx when it will not start, after a traffic stop, its a old banger but i love it, and its masculine.

My partner calls her car "pink dream" its a sort of dirty shade of pink, and a small econmy car, she says "its a real cutie pie" (i hate it)

She threatened to call me that once in the mall,before she found out i had smelly feet (and i ran off 🙂
