I once read a story that disgusted me. Some guy restrained his girlfriend and let his little brother (I think around five or six) tickle her many minutes past her limits. She was pleading for them to stop and began crying, yet they continued.
Put yourself in her place--a target of humiliation and helplessness. To me, that crosses the line into abuse and "torture."

I'm a sadist, and I also don't like safewords. There's a thread about
that started by Jeff somewhere, which I commented on.
The people I tickle know me to some extent, know what they're
getting into, and if they're laughing, they aren't being tortured.
If I wanted to torture someone, I'd find one of my masochistic
friends, and make them cry.
🙂 And you know what, they'd love it.
Also, if the story was a true one, that's one thing, but I find that people
often write stories based on what they'd LIKE to happen, or a twist on
what may have happened, and isn't exact. I prefer to do my tickling in
real life, and that's where I gather my experience and knowledge from,
not from reading stories others have written about real or fictional tickling
accounts. In fact, I don't really like talking about tickling, I like TO tickle!
