Having back problems,I can say that the idea behind stomach exercises is so that the strong stomach muscles can take strain off of the back muscles.Some in medicine even suggest that you deliberately walk with your stomach tightened up to accomplish this.

any new members have experiences for this old thread??
Not sure if this fits exactly, but there's a chiropractic office across the parking lot from my local mall, and they have a Free Massage and Info booth set up in the mall. I frequent it, especially when the masseuse is an attractive female -- which is quite often. They use one of those handheld vibrating back massager things, which I love cause it inevitable tickles the fuck out of me, especially around the sides of my stomach. Plus, it allows me to bring up the subject in passing with the masseuse, which is a nice way to get them to talk about it. They usually think it's cute.
Mind you it's always very brief and probably instantly forgotten (on their end), but like I always say, you gotta respect the drive-by. Low rejection, fond memories.

I've been to one of the free massages also.
the lady didnt tickle me, so i had to help her, by asking her to massage lower, till she got to my sides and i screamed in laughter. she smiled at this and told me i must be very ticklish, i told her i was and she tryed to be careful from there on, which ended the tickles

That's too bad. I always try to fight the laughter, which seems to actually encourage them sometimes. I had a cute girl of about 17 or 18 working on me once and every time I let a laugh out she giggled. The massage went on longer than normal, and she seemed to keep coming back to my worst spots . . . hmmmmmm . . .
I even joked that she was doing it on purpose, and she just kinda smiled and looked away. 😉

This is a massage story rather than a doctor one. At the gym I go to there used to be a girl who was an instructor who set my schedule up. She was 31 (a few years older than me) and cute with strawberry blonde hair and the physique of an aerobics teacher. We got on very well and one day I opted to try one of her back and neck massages.
I was lying face down on the massage table with her rubbing oil on my back while relaxing music played. I was fine until she dug her fingers between my lats and arms and she ended up tickling my underarms. She was saying something about bones can fuse up there but mine hadn't. I couldn't really hear her because I was trying not to laugh. When she realised she was tickling me, she laughed and apologised.
Later on she was rubbing my lower back and she began kneading my sides. Her fingers wiggled against my sides and my tummy and that made me laugh too. She apologised again and told me I needed to relax more.
I would have been quite happy for her to tickle me a lot more but she was too professional for that
