This Easter was bad for me for just one reason: I am not a morning person. My church has a tradition of the youth group (anyone in high school, basically) doing the sunrise service, so I had to get up at 4:30 am. Now, if my job, McDonald's, hadn't decided to change the schedule and make me work until 10 pm on Saturday, everything would've been fine. As it was, I was beat.
Now, I had my girlfriend (we'll call her "Tina") with me the whole day, from the sunrise service until about 9:30 that night. So, after church I dropped her off at her house to change, and then picked her up about an hour later to go to my grandparent's for Easter dinner. After we ate the kids decided to watch "Happy Feet", and having nothing better to do, I sat down to watch it. This led to me deciding to lay on the couch, and then deciding to rest my eyes...but I didn't fall asleep. Now, Tina was as tired as me, so she laid down on the couch. It worked out so that I was on my side, my head resting on the armrest, and her head was on my hip. Then she decided to keep me awake. She knows I like to be tickled, and so she reached up and tickled my stomach for a few seconds every time I looked to be dozing off.
Then we went back to my house, and she wanted to use my laptop to look for prom hairstyles. After she found a few, she put the computer down and let me lay across her legs, so I laid on my stomach. She started to rub my back, and then put her hand under my shirt and lightly tickled my lower back, which we both found it is VERY ticklish. Of course, looking to get tickled more, I said, "At least I'm not lying on my back." So she reached under me and tickled my stomach for a few seconds too. Then my dad decided that we should all go to "the big city," and I ended up falling asleep on the ride home.
The best part was when I took her home. I tried to help her make return address labels on her computer, but her tower is a POS that cost $20, and it just wouldn't work. So we turned on the TV and watched some "Deal or No Deal." She grabbed a footrest and set it in between her legs, so that I sat on it and leaned back against her stomach. I did so, and then reached my hands back to wrap them around her. After a few minutes, she took advantage of my position, which was my goal. She reached down and pulled my shirt up to my chest, and then lightly dragged and fluttered her fingers on my stomach for I would guess about 90 seconds. The way she did it had me laughing hysterically, and she just smiled at me the whole time. After she stopped, I turned around and put my feet on her lap. She lightly tickled my toes and arch, getting a smile, and she said, "You just love having your feet tickled, don't you?" I nodded, and then she asked, "Did your ex ever tickle you?" I told her the truth, that the first time my ex tickled me was about a month before she broke up with me, and she only tickled me a few times, compared to how Tina tickled me within the first two weeks of dating, and tickled me basically every time she saw me. After that, we just sat there with her lightly tickling me until I decided to get home and get some sleep, since I'd been up for over 17 hours.
I consider myself so lucky to have a girlfriend who will indulge me so much. I hope I can get some more tickling soon!
