We got about 4 inches here. Normally that wouldn't be a huge deal but this winter it's like wow!
 
It will be gone in the next day or 2. 50s Thursday and mostly rain Friday it sounds like.

I like the clock.

I hate the rule forbidding the shift. It is my belief that 7 of the defensive players (all but the pitcher and the catcher) should be stationed wherever in fair territory their manager wants them to be.

The gift runner in extra innings is an abomination, offense to baseball and to The Big Dodger in the Sky[sup]*[/sup].

I like the clock too.
Kind of agree with you on the other points too.
It's nice that spring training is here though.
 
I also hate the expanded playoffs with three wild cards in each league. :Grrr: That debases the postseason.
 
Yeah all the sports have done this started adding more teams. I'd rather it be more difficult to make it. One thing we haven't seen in a long time is new expansion teams though.
 
Mils - Did you ever play video games? Growing up? Or as an adult?
 
I played one of the early video games in the 1970's when I was in my 20's. It was called Space Wars (very primitive, on a cathode ray tube).
I played Pac-Man in the early 1980's when I was in my 30's.
I haven't played any video games since then.
I do play some online games such as FreeCell.
 
I played Pac-Man. Grew up in the 1980s/early 90s. My uncle had an atari when I was very young and then I got the original Nintendo.
I play Nintendo Switch now.
I used to play Diamond Dash on FB for years but it went away in 2020.
 
I can easily waste an hour playing 15 or 20 games of FreeCell. 😛
 
Sounds fun. I used to play card games growing up with my family like Uno.

Yes, the Dodgers 8-3 victory over the Padres on Monday was televised on MLB network.
 
I haven't yet. What do you watch the Dodgers on during the season? How do you see their games? And do you stay up late?
 
I am not willing to stay up until 1am to watch the Dodgers. If they are broadcast on MLB Network or on ESPN in a game that starts 8pm EDT or earlier, then I will watch them. Otherwise, I will watch highlights on the Dodgers own website if and only if they won.

Makes sense. I can't stay up till 1AM to watch a game lol. But I get up 6 during work days and more like 7 during weekends. I can't sleep late so I don't normally go to bed late.
 
Exactly. I get up at 6 or 7am regardless of when I go to sleep, so I must try to get to sleep by 11pm.
 
What about the time change tonight? You a fan or no? Rather stick with one or the other?
 
Same here I think. Seems like they always say it's going to stop but it never does.
I used to wonder this but if you worked overnight shift last night do you get paid for 7 hours or 8? lol
