That is unfortunate. Not a painful procedure but an expensive one.
Not as bad as the implant that I needed last year. 🙁

I had one crown before several years ago Not painful. But just hoping it won't need a root canal. I never had one of those.
I have insurance. It'll cover at least 50% of the crown I believe plus last time he gave me a discount on it so I didn't pay a ton of money for it.

It is great that you have dental insurance.
Sad to report that I have had several root canals, including one last year. They are quite painful when the novocain wears off.

Yeah...I heard those can be painful. But it's funny when I was a kid simply going to the dentist seemed like it was painful. Now with all the technology and medicine they don't really hurt that bad most of the time.

Much less painful than when I was a kid, yes. Now it is often painful in the wallet. 😛

Yes - the biggest scam in this country is insurance...of any kind. My company pays 60% of my medical/dental...I pay 40% and as my friend says you go to the doctor and they still hand you these bills you have to pay out of pocket. Crazy.

I think of it as a strange kind of lottery. You submit a claim to your insurance company, and either you break even (they reimburse you what you spent), or you lose (they don't). Sometimes you lose big (they reimburse nothing at all).

Yeah that's pretty much how it is! Oh well, Mils it's been cold lately in the mornings but I guess it's still winter!

I didn't go outside yesterday. Today I have three or four errands to do, including getting a haircut.

Best thing I ever did was not have to get haircuts anymore...I shave my head once a week very short (not quite totally bald). But my hair barely grew once I hit 30.

I get short haircuts so I don't have to go back to the barber for 5 or 6 weeks.
