The was brutal here yesterday and will be even stronger today. 🌬️
 
The wind today is definitely worse than Monday. Ugh Mils...and there's a big storm for the weekend but it should miss us or at least that's what I'm hearing is likely. I really don't want a big snowstorm after all this cold and wind? Plus we had snow a few times.
 
Right now The Weather Channel shows AM Snow Showers for Saturday and Sunny for Sunday (for Manhattan). That is fine with me. 😀
 
I just wish the wind would calm down. Makes it much worse out there.
 
We had gale winds yesterday. Today, the winds should stay below 20mph.
 
Looks like we are locked into a pretty cold January Mils...we got spoiled the last few winters.

I can remember many cold winters, including four in Massachusetts, so I will get through this one.
 
Same here...we had a bunch in the 2000s. And at least we aren't buried in tons of snow as we have been in some winters.
 
It was 40 degrees when I took my daily walk at work Friday afternoon without any wind and the sun out...it felt like 60 compared to what we've had lately.
 
That's the only good thing about when it gets that cold for several days. You get used to it and then even when it's just "less cold" it feels a lot more comfortable even with chilly temps.
 
Ugh...my uncle used to work in the city when he was younger and would stand on the train platform here every morning waiting in the winter. He used to hate it.
