That man could play some great bad guys you just could not hate.

From Here to Eternity. (1953) In my opinion, one of the greatest dramatic films of all time.

Bad Day at Blackrock. (1955)

Marty. (1955)

The Last Command. (1955) Not a very good film, but worth watching just because Ernie Borgnine is in it.

The Flight of the Phoenix. (1965)

Borgnine has so many film and TV credits, I would not even try to mention them all. A fine man, a fine career.

Often the sidekick in John Wayne movies and the star of the Wagon Train TV series.

Gregory Peck... His role as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird was truly Oscar worthy. And the original Cape Fear gave me chills.

Eileen Brennan... loved her in The Sting and Murder by Death. And later on, Private Benjamin.
