Whose your favorite character from the Simpsons, and why? Also, provide some quotes from this character.

Mine for now is Police Chief Wiggum, because he's a bumbling cop and he means well with the advice he gives to his son, but sometimes it's dangerous.

"Aim a little higher Ralphy. There we go. Thats a kill shot."

" See you in court Simpson! And ah, bring that piece of evidence with you...because if you don't...well...we've got nothing against you...and then you'd go scott free..aha..."

"Enough about the rules, when do I get the freakin' gun?!"- insane man

"Hey, I told you you aren't getting a gun until you tell me your name!"- Wiggum

Who Else?

Side-Show Bob!

Not only is he a churlish, educated, and sarcastically well-spoken,
he is also an evil-minded, inveterate slacker.

He'd fit right in with my friends!....I wonder what instrument he plays?

“I'll be back. You can't keep the democrats out of the White House forever, and
when they get in, I'm back on the streets with all my criminal buddies!" - maniacal laughter.

"Kudos for bringing the public back to the Republican party. It's high time the public
realized we conservatives aren't all Johnny-hatemongers and Charlie Bible-thumps, or even,
God forbid, George Bushes."

"My foolish capering destroyed more young minds than syphillis and pinball combined"

"Well, Krusty, this is your Waterloo. Soon you'll be Napolean Blownapart."

Meow! ....Too may hyphens!

Being a huge Simpson Fan, its hard for me to name just one. The Wiggum lines from Vlad's post tells me two things about myself. I've seen all the episodes way to many times, and I reaaaly need to get out more.

But on to the subject at hand: Mr. Burns would have to be one of my all time favorites. The constant sneer, the verbal jabs at his employees, plus just the over all physical stature kills me.

Exxxxxcellent.

I'll give you the thrashing of a lifetime! ((swiping feebly at Smithers))

Who is that bald doughnut eating garbage pail?...Simpson eh?...

Smithers: I think he's dead sir.
Burns: Well send his family a ham.
Smithers: No wait sir...He's alive!
Burns: Oh good....cancel the ham.

I don't really watch the Simpsons that much anymore, but, my favorite Simpson of all-time is Bart! Because he comes up with the craziest ideas!

Disco Stu!!
"Disco Stu don't advertise"
-Disco Stu when asked to buy one of Homer's old school jeans jacket from the seventies...that was supposed to say Disco Stud...but forgot the letter "D"-
Dude can do a good hussle
GQguy

I get a kick out of Homer....mainly because I know a few people just like him. LOL.
A quote huh? How about this one;
"Weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals. Except the weasels"

MmmHEY!!

It's gotta be Professor Frink!!! ...glavin.

The guy's hilarious.

"Sorry I'm late...there was a little accident in the lab with the running and the yelling and the burning and HUH! one the monkeys stole the glasses..off my head AH HA HA!!"

Heh, it is far too hard to choose between them. I tried, and then I filled up pages and pages of quotes. 😛

Homer (to Mr. Burns) - Here are your messages! You have 30 minutes to move your car, you have 10 minutes...your car has been impounded, your car has been crushed into a cube.......you have 30 minutes to move your cube.

"Smithers, who is this "The Leader"? He seems just as malevolent and rich as I, except, he's enjoying tax exempt status!"- Mr. Burns

"Cut the cable and take away the beer supply."- Mr. Burns to Mr. Smithers

"Sir, don't you think that maybe it was doing this that caused the previous caretakers to go insane and murder themselves?"- Mr. Smithers to Mr. Burns

"I'll tell you what Smithers, if we come back and everyone's slaughtered, I owe you a coke." Mr. Burns to Mr. Smithers

"Oh thats just ridiculous! Everyone knows my mutants have fins!....Ah....I shoudn't have said that outloud should I have? Smithers, get the Amnesia ray!"- Mr. Burns

"You mean the revolver, sir?"- Mr. Smithers

"Yes. And be sure to use it on yourself afterwards."- Mr. Burns

LOL, this one is one of my favorites! I laugh every time.

"Get these cleanex boxes off my feet!"- Mr. Burns

"And those jars of your urine, sir?"- Mr. Smithers

"Oooo, we'll keep those."- Mr. Burns

"And now, I give you the Spruce Moose!"- Mr. Burns

" Its a very lovely model (model plane), sir!"- Mr. Smithers

"......model?"- Mr. Burns

"Hop in!"- Mr. Burns

"But sir, I don't think I can fit into..."- Mr. Smithers

*Mr. Burns pulls a revolver on Mr. Smithers*

"I said, hop in."- Mr. Burns

LOL! ^_____^

Does anyone remember that episode? ^^

I used to be SUCH a die hard Simpsons fan. I dont know why I ever stopped watching it!
Ive been playing Simpsons Hit and Run (best game ever!) and it's sparked my interest again. In fact I thought about starting a thread like this myself!
Two of my favorite (if underused) characters are The Comic Book Guy and Snake (Springfield's criminal).
As far as main characters go I always was partial to Lisa.
Play Hit and Run. Did I mention it's great?

ps- Hit and Run kicks ass

I wanted to play that game, but never got around to it.

As for Snake and Comic Book Guy, they're cool too! Every character is cool in their own way, even the least popular ones.

"Worst episode ever!"- Comic Book Guy

"Wow...its only two thirty and I'm already invited to a party!"- Snake (talking to someone on the phone from behind his prison cell)

And lets not forget Ned Flanders!

"Thank you, oh Lord for "Now Thats What I Call Music" volumes one, two, and four!"- Ned (praying)

"Look! Mod! The Great Flood! Its a miracle! God has drowned the wicked and spared the rightious!"- Ned to Mod

"Isn't that Homer Simpsons over there?"- Mod to Ned

"Hmph! Well I guess even Heaven's easier to get into than Arizona State!"- Ned

PS: I like Lisa too.

LOL...I remember that one...The Burns Casino where Marge developes her gambling addiction right?...All the other quotes brings back memories of great episodes gone by.

haven't watched simpsons in a while, since it comes on when i'm at work, but my favorite character, sure everyone loves him...... forgot his name..... that scottish ground keeper for bart's school. he's hilarious, always good to see bad stuff happen to him.

"Who will save the wee turtles? I'll save them! (snap! snap! snap!) AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!! SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THE WEE TURTLES!"

@ Taj- Yeah, thats the one.

@ Bignorm- His name is Willy, or Willie. I'm not sure how it's spelled. I like him too.

"Boy, ya read ma'h thoughts! You've got the "shinin"!"- Willie

"You mean "Shining!"- Bart

"Shut up boy, do ya wanna get sued?"- Willie

"Now listen to me boy, when your daddy goes ga-ga, you just use that...."shin" of yours, and I'll come a running! But don't be readin' me mind between four and five! Thats Willie's time!"- Willie

(from one of the halloween episodes, with a parody making fun of the movie the "Shining" with Jack Nicholson)

Hit and Run is something you should definately pick up when you feel like getting into a new game.
I can't get into ALL the awesome things about it but it's got ALL the original voice actors and it was written by the same folks who write the series so there's no phoney "milk the license" feel to it.
Every vehicle you encounter in the game is drivable and there are a ton of hidden extras. 😀
That and it's not real difficult which is great for non-hardcore gamers like me. 😀

omg, i was making a choice months ago to get that when it first came out or another game, i sadly went with another which was a horrifyingly bad game.

Sounds interesting.

Go for it now, dude. I'ts like $20. 😛 As much as I want some of the newer games out there I just can't bring myself to spend $50 on a new game. It makes sense to buy stuff used or a few months old when it's less than half the price. I'm waiting patiently for Star Wars Battlefront and T.H.U.G 2.

"You're what?! Selling lightbulbs?! Worried about the whales?! Keen on Jesus?! Out with it!"- Mr. Burns
