I always like this song and it's unique history. It started as the background music for an Alka Seltzer commercial in the 60s, hence the name, "No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach's In)." It received such favorable recognition it was released as a single and ultimately made number three on the charts.
The T-Bones later changed their name to "Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds," and had another big hit called "Don't Pull Your Love."
