Fellow ticklephiles,

I know it may seem that I've dropped off the face of the earth, but that's because I've been busy working on Vellicatrices Unlimited. First off, VU is getting a name change. Its new name is "Feather Babes, Inc. (FBI)" Second, this was brought about by the title of the short film I'm producing, which is now in pre-production. The project is an indie collaboration between writer/fight choreographer Phil Simmons and Dark Elf Films.

The film will feature VU heroines, Koo, Natalya and Heidi battling new villainess Diva DeSade and her Dames of Doom.

Diva DeSade has created a serum that has turned her and her army, The Dames of Doom, into superwomen. However, the serum has the unfortunate side effect of making them horrifically ticklish and sensitive on their feet. Diva seeks to steal Dr. Koo Chang's (for those of you who still remember Koo's real name) TK-X1 formula, hoping it will help her to fix her flawed creation. Little does Diva know, Dr. Chang leads Feather Babes, Inc., a special task force of female agents trained to capitalize on her unique weakness.

In case you're wondering, I'm still debating as to whether or not to have the actress playing Natalya to wear a redhead wig. As you can see, she's plenty hot as a brunette! 😀

I tried to begin this sentence a few times, and I really didn't know where to start! Utterly fantastic! We'd spoken about Feather Babes, Inc. and I loved the story for it, but I had no idea you'd managed to assemble such a collection of gorgeous ladies to play the parts of our favorite vellicatrices! Diva deSade looks wonderfully villainous, Natalya looks cute and flirtatious, and Koo Chang looks just right, right down tot he outfit. What great choices!

It's wonderfully inspiring to see that you've made so much progress on this project. VU was my favorite tickling series of all time and I'm delighted to see that it will live again. My friend, you should be beyond proud of yourself for such an undertaking. Amazing work!

Casting was tough. Believe it or not, there are STILL ladies trying to be cast for this production. A couple of them are well-known fetish and fashion models!

As for some of the ladies (just cuz I know you'd be interested in hearing it) ...

The actress playing Heidi (not pictured because she's out of town til the day before we film) is a beautiful, blonde amazon; 6 ft. tall and very girly ... but she hits like a truck.

Most all the ladies are VERY ticklish, especially Natalya, Diva, Agent Six and Henchbabe #2. Oh, and the actress playing Diva can do the "crazy toe things" that you often see in my artwork. Practicing the stuff where they get tied up and tickled has been fun for the entire cast. (They think it's a riot!)

Frankly, I lucked out on this production. I have a great cast and crew. Once this does the film festival circuit (we're already going to five of them), I'm going to look for investors to a bigger budget sequel. This was at the request of some of my cast! 😀

Ahem, I seem to have regained my ability to comment on this coherently without being reduced to OMGAWESOME. So, about this alread-planned sequel (or the current project), as a current film major at college, you wouldn't happen to be needing any uh, film interns to help?

OBVIOUSLY I'm only offering for the sake of my resume. Mmmmhm.

Vigil, my answer there would be YES ... especially if you can get to the Central Florida area.

Kunzite - It was SO hard keeping this under wraps, til I had something to show for it. Hell, even the script that you read has been edited down to about 24 minutes, due to the fact we have a limited time to shoot. The latest version is funnier, though.

Speaking of which, this isn't even a fetish film, technically. It's spy comedy/action film. The bondage, foot stuff and tickling is all part of the "comedic irony". The fetish people will get it and the vanillas will just think it's funny ... and slightly weird. Truth is, is kinda like a really sexy live action cartoon.

Wow ftkl haha, you've provided some incredible art over the years and to see this turn into a live action shoot... I'm floored as the next guy! The shots you provided are like you took them right out of your drawings!!
Though the way you make the feet and toes scrunch are mind blowing, I'm dying to see if Diva can come close as you say.

Great project, though not a fetish film, it's still fun to see short films like these.
