Feather tattoos

More and more I see girls with tattoos of feathers on their feet. I can't help but think this is advertising. Please tickle. Of course I might be biased. One girl I knew even had little squiggy lines around the feather.

Any girls here get feathers tattooed on their feet, or anywhere, for this reason? Anyone else been enjoying this fad?

My friend's wife has a feather tattoo on her foot. When I asked what it meant she said it means she is a writer.

I'm planning on getting a peacock feather in an art nouveau style. I love the colors that can are in that imagine and the top of the foot is just an easy place to cover it up if I need to for work. I don't really think it's an advertisement of anything but just a way to express oneself. I picked that because I like the myth behind how a peacock got it's eye feathers and the colors of the feather itself. I have other things that I have planned to express my involvement in the community.

I was looking into symbology of feather tattoos. Apparently they represent a wide spectrum of qualities including creativity, courage, freedom, calm temperament, and sensuality. Of course, I'm sure many people choose them for asthetics as well or associate it with something personal to them. Wishful thinking on my part, although the gal with the squiggy lines around her feather tattoo always did appreciate a good tickle, even if she never admitted as much. Squeezing a guy tightly after he tickles you is a horrible way to get him to stop. It's a shame she moved.

Yeah, but not to wishful. I mean, you looked at the symbolism of feathers. But seriously, courageous/calm temperament feet? Of course, it is just a tattoo. If a woman has a tattoo of a chili pepper on her bottom does that mean she like chili peppers shoved up...? well, you get the message.

I'm honestly not sure about the whole feather tattoo on a woman's foot symbology, but my theory is that a woman who gets a tattoo of anything on her foot definitely wants to draw attention to her feet. And any woman who wants to draw attention to her feet is cool in my book.

I thought about it but I've already got 4 and don't want to look like a coloring book any time soon. Tattoos are a big commitment and who knows what I'll be into when I'm 30, 40, 50...

In my experience, women get tattoos in places that are easy to conceal for work. I have one on my back shoulder blade for this purpose. Most women's shoes hide their tattoos on their feet, so that can be another reason.

Another is that a majority of people do find feet attractive if they're well-taken care of. That doesn't necessarily mean they have a foot or tickling fetish. Either way, I wouldn't misread a feather tattoo for an invite unless someone is really aching for a slap in the face.

feathers have many meanings, only some of them related to tickling. Like milagros317 mentioned, if you run into someone with a feather tat on her foot, it's a good conversation starter. Probably dangerous to automatically assume it means she's into foot tickling.
