The first time I ever was involved in a tickle session I brought a feather (like one of those stiff ones you would dip into ink to write with) and unfortunately it wasn't very effective at all. On the face of my "victim" it tickled a little bit but not that much anywhere. (except for maybe in between the toes) So to answer your question if you just want to tease or lightly tickle somebody it could work some, but if you are looking for the more torturous "hardcore" kind of tickling I would stick with fingers or maybe something harder like a hairbrush.
