Granted that life would be three times as strong as us...if the gravity was 3 times that of Earth's.
That's really neat 😀
It'd be nothing short of a miracle if it was inhabited by life aswell.
Let's frame this idea with the Drake Equation in mind.
It's a very easy equation to do for yourself with your own calculator, and your own numbers (move the decimal 2 places to the left to convert from percent ). If you go with the default data, you get 10 civilizations capable of interstellar communication that haven't wiped themselves out, per galaxy. I lean closer to the numbers 3-7 (dictated by rate of star formation).
Keep in mind, this is just an equation that one man made up. We don't really have a complete understanding of the dynamic between life and planets, mainly because we're only aware of one planet with life. xD Also keep in mind that this just counts the number of civilizations capable of interstellar communication. Even if you were only to count these, you have to multiply that number by a several hundred billion, maybe even a few trillion. Maybe more. "Hundreds of billions of galaxies" is the best answer given, for how many exist. This is all we see in the observable universe. Given the rate of universal expansion (it becomes faster as the space between galaxies increases, so inevitably space will expand faster than light can move), there may be trillions of galaxies we're not even aware of.
