First Farrah, then Michael, now a 3rd death?

Death comes in Three's or "Three on a Match"......

Come's from a story that soldiers lighting a cigarette in the trenches in WWI would put it out after only two lights. The reasoning behind it was a sniper would see the light of the match or lighter across No Man's Land.
He folllowed the light to the second man to load his rifle with a round (snipers never carried their weapon with a loaded round, it had the possibility of going off).
When the light would transfer to the third man, the sniper would have focused on his final target.

now Fred Travelena has died at the age of 66..well known impressionist..died of non hodgkins lymphoma..

Also Billy Mays 🙁
"TMZ has confirmed TV pitchman Billy Mays was found dead today in his home in Tampa, Florida early this morning.

According to the Tampa PD, the 50-year-old TV pitchman was found unresponsive by his wife Deborah at 7:45 AM."

Wait a minute ! I want celebrity deaths, not some people i never heard off it's not "important" . i want full of images on tv, headlines and newspapers talking about it all days long as if nothing else happens !!!

dammnit i even want to see pictures of the autopsy if available ! and of course the body exposed to the crowd eh . that's what i'd call a decent death coverage !

so place your bets on another movie/song/whoever star it is.

am i kidding ? yes kind of, but having two mediatised death and waiting for a third one cause its not enough for your money... meh. i think many people die a day and are not talked about so much.

Approximately 1,800 WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans die each day. Many were highly decorated. We hear very little of their passing.

According to the DOD predictions, the last WWII veteran will pass on in 2016.
Yes, there are a few WWI veterans left. It seems we are rendering honors for more Vietnam War veterans lately, mostly because of cancer and heart ailments.

I'd rather watch what is going on around the world than watch the media talk about some 'star' crapping out. Bread and Circuses.

We have enough to worry about the two looney-tunes in Iran and North Korea rattling their nuclear sabres. Our own goverment is laying out bills that they aren't even allowed to read. They get a brief synopsis and have to vote on it.

Latest News out of Hollyweird.....

Karl Malden dies at 97. Interesting note: Malden was in 'Streetcar named Desire' with Marlon Brando. Brando died on this date in 1980.

I liked Malden as Omar Bradley in 'Patton'. My Dad told me he was a "Soldier's Soldier". He went into combat with just a rifle like the rest of his men. I always thought the resemblance of the two actors relating to their subjects were remarkable.

ah he was old..i liked him in Street Car Named Desire..and also On The Waterfront..two different characters entirely..

So has Mollie Sugen aka Mrs. Sloccombe from Are you being Served, has also passed away. 🙁 R.I.P. to all those people.

Now THAT is a big loss. MDJ and I would watch KET Saturday nights and watch "Waiting for God", followed by "Keeping up Appearances", then "As Time Goes By", and then finish with "Are You Being Served." When the kids were toddlers, we would get them to bed by 9 pm so we could make that our Saturday Date night.

She'll be missed...

Did you ever see him on "The Streets Of San Francisco" with Michael Douglas?

That's actually where I first grew acquainted with Karl Malden as a kid growing up in the 70's. Of course, he later made those traveler's check commercials that seemed so ubiquitous in the 80's...
