Fishy Pedicure

It sounds like an idea that was imported from overseas to me. So, even if "fish-nibbling-as-therapy" appears finished here Stateside, it might be an available spa-treatment elsewhere.

I mean, if you just GOTTA have your feet cleaned by hungry fish... :blink


I agree with misterpedi. The human touch is probably best for that sort of thing. It just seems like there's something not right about tricking hungry fishes into picking our feet-detritus clean.

why,I mean the natural way is always best,putting chemicals in your body is never good.I think the fish know when to stop because they are naturals at it.They even have a fish in the ocean that cleans other fishes' teeth.

But the problem is a fish DOESN"T know when to stop. A fish doesn't know the life style of the person it is nibbling on, but I do. Sometimes I leave some callused areas, like if they are a runner and need protection in stategic impact areas.
Plus all my chemicals are safe ,natural, watersoluble sugar scrubs. And very effective , more so than a fish.

I haven't heard of the fishes hurting anybody at all.They even use leeches on some patients in some hospitals.I think these creatures are just naturals and somehow know what to do.They have been very effective treatments.Have you ever had any experience with them?I am a beginning aquarium hobbyist.

I haven't heard of fishes hurting anyone either and if you want to use them in your home or if you know a podiatrist who uses this treatment ,thats fine.
Its when they are introduced into pedicuring without supervision of strict guidelines ( which seems to be the case now a days) that I see a real grave problem.

I'd have to agree there.The person giving the treatment should know what they are doing.You probably should ask a doctor too before you go self medicating

MTV does a game show called "Silent Library"....where a team of six guys are put into strange situations or do strange things, without making too much noise.

The more the accomplish, the more money they win.

Cards are dealt face down, whoever gets the card with the skull and crossbones has do do the challenge.

I just found on you tube an episode called "Dr. Fish" where one guy has to stick his feet into a tank with the fish, and keep them there for 15 seconds.

one friend puts a hand over his mouth, while another presses down on his knees to keep his feet in the tank.

It's pretty obvious by the reactions of the guy with his feet in the tank that his feet are ticklish.
