So i've been reading this novel for the first time..it's been on my bookshelf for years and years and i never touched it til the other day..

Have you ever gotten really emotionally involved in a character from a book? I have..David Champlin...i already know what happens at the end, so i won't read anymore..i'm almost done anyway...it's just too sad for me..like a death of a friend..

I don't know about emotionally involved, but I really liked some characters in certain books and got upset when something bad happened to them. For example, when I was a little girl,I read The Lion The With and The Wardrobe and they had a scene where the Lion was tied up with rope and had a muzzle on him.All the while the other characters, who were on the Witch's side were spitting, clawing and overall being very cruel to him.I couldn't take that chapter and started crying.
Now you know I shouldn't have been crying over a book which was very clearly not real, but,in any case I did.

I f'ing hated Bridge to Terabithia. Nothing made me cry more than hearing my elementary teacher read about the little girl's death and then to top it off it gets my hopes up when the kid wakes up and think's it all a bad dream. F'ing elementary English class. On top of that, in later grades we had to read even more god damned depressing books. The Giver, The Great Gatsby, Mice and Men, and even Animal Farm. Jesus f'ing Christ it was like they were trying to make us all kill ourselves.

Yeah, there's some charactors that i wouldn't say i was emotionally involved with but i did feel a bond with them and there's this charactor from this story that is written by a singer i like and i felt sad at the end of the story and sad how the charactor was in love with this girl but she just used him.. and the end of the story it aways made me sad because he goes through all this pain and stuff and at the end it was for nothing. and he realized that his work was sold as a product and at the end he finally accepts who has become and he realizes that all his dreams were destroyed.

I will never read "Uncle Tom's Cabin"...again i mean ...too sad..
